Thorn is going to collect even more vault dust than The Fourth Horseman.
Thank you Bungie for making this exotic weapon even more useless than before. The Dot is a joke and the artifact will make it a laughing stock. And now the range got a 25% reduction.
Thank you for making it useless. It will suffer from ghost bullets aka bloom effect even more because of the range nerf and the artifact will make it an insignificant weapon. It will be collecting as much dust in the vault as The Fourth Horseman exotic shotgun.

1 ReplyI think in some way Bungie feels bad about exotic weapons. In year 1 they were good but got nerfed so hard over time that it's now better to just use legendary weapons with good perks over exotic weapons. Just compare the base stats of hawkmoon and it's little brother Eyasluna. Eyasluna is better in every way. And Thorn is now a funny gimmick. The burn is fun to see but never enough to kill anybody. And the reduction of the range with a -blam!-ing 25% and the burn reducing artifact that is coming is enough to make Thorn a "blue" weapon.
