The company behind this pipeline has handled this whole situation with shockingly poor tact. Hey sending your hired thugs after protesters? Not a good look if you're looking for by in from people living around the 1000 or so miles this thing covers. Arrest warrants for press covering the protests? Again, not a good look. Bitch about "private property" all you like. The reality is with any pipeline project it requires tremendous stakeholder buy in as it's affecting a lot of the land outside of the precious private property some people like to jerk off over. Like if you're trying not to be a comically evil oil company you probably shouldn't act like one.

These people are literally getting pissed about empty land they've not paid for. Sorry they lived in America first. Not our problem they couldn't hold it. I'm part Indian and even I think these people are -blam!-ed in the head. If they think dogs and mace are bad wait till the national guard gets there with full military weaponry.
-
I swear conservatives are the biggest hypocrites and uneducated morons on planet earth. to them this is an example of how its the right of the corporation to destroy their land and ruin the environment for money and how the protestors are crazy hippies that deserve death. and yet the same inbreds defend cliven Bundy, a republican conservatard leeching off federal land who then called upon the same redneck republicans to bring out their guns when the government tried to stop him. the republican party and its voters are a cancer, I cant wait for their party to be finished. soon they will be gone.

republican party idiots want corporations to rule america

Edited by SuperStormDroid: 9/10/2016 1:58:05 AMAh, the dark side of capitalism at work. Why am I not surprised? And to think some people defend the actions of companies like this one.
-
These protestors are absolutely disgusting
-
they sent the dogs at me with no warning
You've got to be kidding me
its so annoying when protesters act like they are the victim
-
You are just another liberal sheep. Those people clearly invaded private property. Their feelings don't give them any right to be there.
-
Hippies should focus on getting a job instead of protesting
-
Good, those protesters suck and don't know anything about how the world works.
-
-
I don't get what's bad about a single pipe being built across a small part of land.

Edited by Penguin Emperor: 9/10/2016 5:52:24 AMFück all the people involved. I only care if the dogs and horses (I think I saw a pic with them) are ok

As far as I understand the protesters are invading private land, hence their ejection from the property.
-
Lol... no, they rushed the site, security was literally doing their job. Sorry, but your narrative won't fly here. If you rush a secure location, no matter the reason, you will get physically handled.
-
Meh protestors are annoying
-
I want to know just HOW THE -blam!- ARE THEY GETTIN AWAY WITH THIS. LAWS ARE BEING BROKEN BY THE COMPANY ITSELF AND NOW THE NATIONAL GAURD HAS BEEN CALLED. NO MEDIA COVERAGE, BIG COMPANY HAS A LOT TO GAIN. PUT IT TOGETHER AND WAKE UP!!!!!!
-
So after watching the video I see the protesters breaking the law and inciting violence. Now they are mad they paid the price with a few minor scratches. Seems legit!
-
I got so much to rant on about this, I am just going to say one thing. Bump
