Bungie just screws people over.
Yes I know this is late but I just started getting back into Destiny again after losing my disk for so long.
I've always loved Destiny from when it came out to The House of Wolves and The Taken King I've loved every update and every new item added, but coming back into to Destiny and seeing how you just gave up on later generation consoles is just unbelievable. You guys just screwed over every player on PS3 and Xbox consoles, calling them "Legacy Console" don't bullshit yourselves. It was a game we payed $60 for including the expansions, and now your making this sound like a subscription. "Sorry you have a Legacy account for Destiny, if you would like to have the full content please pay $300 for a new console plus $60 dollars for a new game because keeping up with PS3 Xbox PS4 and Xbox One is just too difficult." Some people don't have that money, they can't afford a new console and game and you ruined what was a great game by adding these bullshit excuses to get more money for your game and to not have to spend time sending the updates out to PS3 and Xbox consoles. Thought Bungie would have been better than this.

Also, you can buy Destiny: the Collection for $40.

Remember the whole Borderlands 2 disaster where there were no new patches and fixes and no new guns with the headhunter packs? That was because they ran outta memory. For Destiny it is the same. Remember how they had to take out item comparison in the Vault on PS3 and 360? Else there wouldn't have been new space for you. Bungie at least tried to keep supporting these more than outdated systems after many devs said no and moved on. I'm sorry, your console can not physically handle more content. That's why you are getting left behind.

1 ReplyNah it's messed up how they're taking trials away. I can understand why they're not bringing rise of iron (idk but it probably can't run on it), but taking away stuff you paid for ain't cool. Given, I think throughout the 3 years it's been out you guys should've been getting next gen cash. I would've never been comfortable playing on last gen, knowing bungie would probably drop it sooner or later

Happens in all games now games like fifa are slower giving less and less content by the year for the game for older consoles but really it dosent suprise me because it's ea. This game though I feel as though it should still be possible to do content on those consoles but what do I know. The only thing you can do is save up some money and upgrade unfortunately because more and more games are following the same route.

Here's the deal. In order to make RoI better, that had to drop last gen. Last gen didn't have the technological capabilities to support any further updates. And you say that you payed $60 dollars like everyone else, but ps4 and Xbox one owner s also paid $60 for a game that was being held back because of last gen. You had to of known this day was coming.

Destiny shouldn't have been released on last gen in the first place, it's been holding back development ever since. Think yourself lucky you got 2 years of Destiny and save up for a new console. Coming from a PC background all this talk of last gen and current gen consoles makes me laugh anyway as the "current" gen is far from current by PC standards but the last gen? My mobile phone is more powerful. Literally, My mobile phone. They should not be trying to shoe horn a AAA title on to that hardware.

By now I would say Bungie is well aware you're all pissed off but they believe what they're doing is for the good of the game and it's community so let it go because the vast majority of this forum are tired of seeing these threads.

1. Bungie is not the people that cane up with the name of legacy consoles 2. You could not have thought that the legacy consoles would have stayed with Destiny for the 10 year span. 3. Get a damn job and work for the new console. I got a job as a dish washer and worked up enough money to buy a NEW ps4, plus a yearly psn plus membership and ac unity. Its called working. I dont know how old you are but you are going to have to do it someday. Welcome to real life. IT SUCKS

3 RepliesAgain I said this a 1000 times and I guess I have to repeat myself - first Rise of Iron is not possible for legacy because they would have to start removing things from the game to fit it, while most things would not work most likely. 2nd microsoft and sony respectively are stopping support for these consoles including online/live so Bungie is doing the best they can regarding this and rather than cut off everything at once they are since a few months getting people ready and trying to help with the transition because this is how a business works and developers work this way. Bungie just gets all the hate for it....

The 360 and PS3 are decade old consoles that's older then an iPhone. And Bungie is screwin anyone over you can't buy ROI so therefore you aren't getting ripped off
