You'd have to have the gear dropping lower than the RoI raid, so there'd still be incentive to run the newest content. This would strictly be so we can obtain the old gear and look from year 1, but we'd still have to run the new content for infusion material. But I'd love an incentive to run the old raids again, was so pissed when TTK came out.

Make the drops the same as the grind packages from vanguard ranks and maybe faction ranks. They could be lower light and still worth the time in earning

I agree to a point. You should still have to run the latest content to reach maximum Light, but it would be nice to be able to earn versions of old Raid Set Gear that can be infused. When Etheric Light was a thing, it brought new life into the Vault of Glass even though the Raid itself didn't change simply because the old loot was relevant once more. I would think doing something similar for infusion would be excellent for the game's longevity. I know that I for one would love to rock that Unyielding Casque once more.
