Hello Bungie. Longtime Destiny fan/player here.
Recently I decided to use my Radiant Light boost by deleting my (poorly created) Warlock and starting a new one. Prior to this, my Warlock had been my main character I played with, accomplishing such feats as gathering all calcified fragments and attaining Touch of Malice, defeating Oryx on Hard Mode, and essentially everything else necessary to complete Year 2 Moments of Triumph. Being the idiot I am, I deleted my Warlock and power leveled another one maybe a month before Triumphs went live, and subsequently lost all progress towards achieving Rank 5, not including the achievements my Titan and Hunter had accomplished. Their collective progress brought me to Rank 3, however I'm still missing several criteria that my Warlock had already done and would be more than difficult to do once again. I suppose the question that I'm building up to is this; how screwed am I? Do I really have to go through the tediousness of collecting all 50 calcified fragments again? Am I expected to try and form another solid raid team this close to Rise of Iron's release, when so few players care about running Oryx for the umpteenth time? I know that I brought this on myself I just wish there would have been some warning sign along the way to indicate that I would be up S**t Creek without a paddle, because this really sucks knowing that I've done these things, having the gear to prove it, and still not getting the rewards I would otherwise have received. Please Bungie, can you do some sort of consolation release for the players like me who stupidly deleted their main characters? I know that's asking a lot but I can literally provide screenshots of the gear I would not have been able to attain had I not gone through these rigorous trials already.
Here's hoping this gets any traction.

Going to hate the answer, but you will have to do most of those activities over again. This same issue went on with the first version of Moments of Triumph.

Tbh..its not the game or bungie's fault that you deleted the character.

The things I've accomplished save to my account. I have the gear to prove it. Why does deleting a character immediately remove my chances of completing the moments of triumph? I'm not saying it's Bungie's fault for me deleting my character but it is their fault for not having a better system in place in case something like this happens.
