Why Dead Money is the least liked Fallout DLC.

I've noticed a trend in the majority of Fallout New Vegas players on this site. Dead Money is their least favorite DLC. But when I look at NMA nearly everyone says Dead Money is the best DLC. After a bit of thinking I have come up with a hypothesis on why there is such a major difference in opinions from site to site and now we're here. So my theory is that most people on b.net are your average gamers; the ones that enjoy power fantasies and despise games that give you a severe disadvantage. On the other hand No Mutants Allowed consists of people who enjoy difficult, old-school RPGs that have amazing writing and story. Dead Money is anything but a power fantasy. Your gear is taken away from the beginning and you have to scavenge and try to work with what few resources you get. It also has several choices throughout the main story that affect the ending. That's just what the latter likes. On the other hand let's take a look at Fallout 4. It's a power fantasy with a lack of choice and a lack of consequences for those few choices you have. It lacks good writing and player agency. That's what the former likes. So all in all Bethesda pleased the majority with Fallout 4 but didn't please the original fans who have stuck with the series since 1997. It's all up to Obsidian or InXile to fix this mess now if they're even given the chance.
