Why would Bungie waste their time on a year 1 gun? You year 1 players need to let the past go man. Really.
Edit: LMAO!!! You guys are really angry. If you love year 1 so much, don't buy future expansions & just stay there.

Y2 noob. Just because a gun isn't in y2 doesn't mean we need to let it go. It's an awesome gun with a cool story and it's sad to see it's legacy tarnished. Vex and Necrochasm need to be brought back to y2 (and y3) light levels.
-
Agreed
-
Yeah, these new cats don't get it.
-
Lmao. So tell me how they're gonna bring back a weapon based on Vex & hive stories? I would love to see you tell this one.
-
Dude did you even did the Quest tot get Thorn??? Kill a op Hive wizard year 1.. So still hive gun in my eyes.
-
It doesn't need to be fitting with the lore to be brought back. We already "aquired" them in the past, so where in the story does it say we can't use them? I'd love for you to tell me that. Smh.
-
It does need to fit with the lore & you don't seem to care about that. Idk about you, but I want destiny to progress in storytelling. & bringing back a vex weapon during a fallen/SIVA DLC is just asinine.
-
Why does it have to be from a questline/story part of rise of iron? All I'm saying is that it should be at y2 and y3 light levels. Yes, I know it might make less sense than putting in a quest, but the fact is that there is no more dlc after rise of iron. This is bungies last chance to bring it's legacy back.

Edited by XxGodIsBlackXx: 8/29/2016 3:33:34 AMYes, this is the last DLC for destiny 1, but 2 will still continue the story. Unless we fight the vex, the gun coming back is just stupid, & will only make ppl say "hey if vex come back, why can't everything in year 1 come back?"
-
Edited by SuperLuper663: 8/29/2016 3:22:14 AMYou realize that by our current info, vex and necrochasm are the only exotics not confirmed to be at Y3 light lvl...
-
I doubt they will bring back Mythoclast or Necrochasm with Rise of Iron, but they will eventually come back with other expansions, pretty sure.
-
Same way they're bringing back Ghally and Thorn. Incorporate a way that you earn it through a quest that is heavily lore based so you can learn the story of the weapon and its origins and finishing the quest rewards you with the year 3 version of the weapon
-
Ghally's comeback actually makes sense.
-
Necrochasm would've made sense coming back in Taken King. The dlc is still Hive related.
-
Meh, touch of malice makes more sense than that gun IMO.
-
I mean ToM is directly related to killing Oryx but all the times we went back to where Crota's End took place they could have easily stuck a quest in there for a year 2 Necrochasm.
-
They could've, but it would've been to make year 1 players happy, not because it makes sense & that's the problem here. Everything is starting to be repetitive because year 1 players only want the old shit back. Im just feeling like...go play vanilla destiny if you want it back so bad.
-
We can't go back and play vanilla for what it truly was. We may never be able to, but the repetition that is in the game today was less irritating back in Y1. You could easily just sit back and play strikes for hours on end. And it be fun and not feel grindy. Crucible wasn't the shitshow it is now. Raids were a viable source for loot and they didn't feel like a chore to do.
-
Buts it's still brought back through a lore driven quest. Quest like that are the best way to bring back old exotics.
