Destiny would benefit from a system that allows any raids besides the most current to have matchmaking. This makes sure the newest raid still needs premade teams and/or people who know what they are doing while allowing access to the older raids to anybody willing to try. This could be a solution to the elitism problem Destiny seems to have surrounding raid content as well as hopefully eliminating peoples need to feel they need to lie about their experince with a raid in order to even join one. If Destiny had a system that alerted the party that someone is running a raid for the first time or gave bonus' for including a first time player, this could also help create a fair raid matchmaking system that everyone could benefit from.

 • Funny how you call it elitism for raids but what about trails?

 • Trials has it too, don't kid yourself. I'd be willing to bet that allowing matchmaking and letting in groups of random, un-coordinated players would actually benefit Trials by giving solo players a chance at SOME rewards and giving any pre-mades a higher chance to advance, regardless of skill. Matchmaking could pair you with others who share the same or very close wins/loses as you so you at least have a chance. Bad players will still do bad. Better players will still do better. Everybody wins. Exept the losers.
