Can Hunters and Warlocks get infinite insta kill melees?

That's all shoulder charge is, a infinite melee that insta kills practically everything not in super or super Max armor. I know it only activates for a few seconds but holy hell, it can climb 90 degree angles like a -blam!-ing goat, it activates at 2 feet, it can activate mid air, it gives the tank class more movement abilities then a -blam!-ing hunter which is the agile class (or supposed to be buy with all the nerfs to shade step (not necessary) and blink (somewhat necessary, but not that recovery bs) Yes I am a hunter main, I played as a Titan in year 1 but scrapped him. I'm not a helicopter pilot but I know when that shits not supposed have its rotor across the -blam!-ing field. That's the Ramblings of a very salty hunter Edit: My proposition for a fix would for it to use a melee charge, similar to hunters and back stab, it's an instakill but it takes a melee charge. I don't know if I'd want it to be used only if it makes contact with someone or if you use it at all. It is a melee after all, not meant for mobility Edit 2: okay guys, I get it haha I'm a hunter haha. I do appreciate those that have provided proper feedback on why it isn't OP, that is widely appreciated. Edit 3: a brilliant suggest by mrtheliger "How to fix Shoulder Charge: It does not go up if you jump away from it. It cannot turn 90 degrees and hit you. Problem solved. It can still track slightly, just straight forward would render it useless, but not to insane degrees."

  • Again, I will post this... Shoulder charge is a high risk/high reward ability. There are many counters and it puts the striker in a very awkward and risky situation. Starting with the activation, a titan must keep sprinting meaning he can't shoot or throw grenades at anybody and he's got no extra armor leaving him completely vulnerable to you. Then during the animation the same stuff as said before happens. Now if he misses this means he's in a very bad situation but a good one for you. You will be able to easily take down a titan that misses his shoulder charge because he will have expected you to die and he will be stunned to see you alive. The best way to get them to use it and miss is to either back up, run away, or jump at the last second. Then clean up the titan. Now for the counters. As stated before a titan attempting a shoulder charge is very vulnerable as he can't shoot, throw a grenade, and he doesn't have extra armor. This means you can use any method to take him down. Here are the main counters, primary weapon fire, shotgun, sniper spam or headshot, grenade, weaken then melee, heavy ammo if you have any, super, team shot, back up, run away, or dodge at the last second. Those are the basics to countering shoulder charge. Shoulder charge is actually one of the easiest abilities to counter. You can do all of those things and here's the key, pay attention. Strikers aren't invisible on your radar. If they are coming in you can see the huge red blob on your radar or the enemy running straight at you. Also no one said you had to stay standing there, you can run as I said before. Now if you get shoulder charged because you were focused on another enemy and you couldn't pay attention and counter it, well here's the thing, you would've died to that enemy anyways. He would have killed you with a grenade, melee, special, primary, or super. The point is you would be dead anyways.
