Do you by chance have a pic of it?

here it is

Lol that's like saying I see a nasa sign.... I must be in Florida

Could just be the containers. Either way there's still that fact that you can't see the moon sized ball from the cosmodrome.
-
Well Bungie did specifically say they used the Cosmo pallet on that map.
-
Which map?
-
Twilight Gap. In the Crucible Ride Along they said they were going to put that map set in the city but eventually chose the Cosmo pallet instead.

Edited by Fal Chavam: 8/25/2016 12:35:46 PMThey probably just didn't want to make a new pallet for it. BUT Lore-wise, the city could still be in Russia, but not near the cosmo. (Russia is the largest country in the world after all.) This would explain why they have Russian stuff but still keep it out of the Cosmodrome. And another location where someone else thought the city was, was somewhere in the Caucasian mountains in Russia

Just waiting for more info. Can't wait to check out Felwinter Peak and the Plaguelands.

Same. I couldn't help myself so I watched the wretched eye strike and got myself all hyped.

That's poorest excuse I heard. Ignorance is a bliss

.....not really. Its a mini moon that marks to city's location, kinda hard to miss. Even if you're several dozen miles away, you'll still see it. Also there's a lack of mountains near the cosmodrome.
-
Actually due to the curvature of the Earth, you can only see about 40km in any given direction. Russia is enormous - the traveller could easily be a few hundred kms from the Cosmodrome without you being able to see the city there.
-
Yes, but this is a mini moon......it's a biggen. This hangs a good few hundred meters in the air. (and is maybe a good few hundred thousand meters tall. you'd be able to see it from the cosmo if it was close.
