How to be a professional destiny player
Number 1 - Play on your neighbor's WiFi!
Number 2 - Throw a skip grenade in the opponent's general direction for a free, unavoidable 90% health reduction.
Number 3 - Use the Last Word to jump at your opponent and hold down the trigger. You only need to hip fire and shoot in their general direction to kill them faster than any other weapon by far.
Number 4 - If this fails, just go invisible beforehand and you will win.

Oh and another option for WiFi instead of your neighbors just use shreks WiFi if you do that you'll be indestructible! :D

21 RepliesOne thing the entire Destiny community could learn from COD players: accept being outplayed, and adjust. I come from hardcore COD where people camp corners, use "meta" weapons, and overall play the cheapest strategies to win. That being said, when COD players get killed, they don't blame it on lag, or make excuses, they just respawn and try to get their opponent from a different angle. (Or use a noob tube (destiny version is a super)). But there's never complaining about how the game -blam!-ed you over, it's all about how your opponent played you. Whether it's camping or not is debatable, but camping is a part of PVP gameplay. Always has been, always will be. In short, just learn that often times when you die, you simply lost that gunfight. Doesn't make you a bad player, doesn't make the other person a cheater, it just means you lost one. Shit happens. Build a bridge and get over it.

4 Replies^The main problem with the gaming community in one concise post. 1) Yeah, red bars are obnoxious. I'll give you that one. 2) Skip grenades do roughly 60% in a full tag. By running away, the Skip will still chase but incur less damage. Also, they have a mind of their own and often don't tag, so saying "throw in the general direction" is a simplification. 3) Virtually no one hip fires TLW unless their opponent is within shotgun range. It is absolutely a meta weapon but a lot of good players use Eyasluna or Lord High Fixer or the IB hand cannon. TLW is one of many competitive weapons. The sooner you accept that you're being outplayed, the sooner you will improve. And if you can't do that, play the style that you mentioned. You'll quickly find out it isn't that easy. But I'm sure you'd rather play "honourably" and use blue weapons and gear. Now watch how everything I said is irrelevant because I'm a Hunter. I must be trying to cover up our secrets or something.

Always promote them as the "greatest developer ever to grace the Earth", especially when you get "Weasel" mid-stream. 6) Lots more incoherent screaming (at an octave that makes people think that chipmunks are getting murdered somewhere...) while promoting Bungie and your five other Twitch-streaming friends (who also happen to have your same type of Turrette's Syndrome...). 7) Count those moneys. 8) Scream some more (at an even higher pitch), but at the money this time.
