I like this post, but every week when you make your recommendations on the eirene, are basing your assessment on pvp rolls? With the scopes and aim assist on eirene, people usually use it for pve. (I rarely see it ever being used for pvp) that being said the thought the third one this week was the best for pve. The solar one with firefly, high cal rounds, shoot to loot etc... idk.. the other 2 weren't all that good either, but it's mainly a pve sniper. Keep up the good work

Should I get the Surplus JLB-47 (Roll 2) this week for PvE? And then buy another JLB-47 and wait for tracking for PvP?

I've held on to a Thesan FR4 order for almost 2 months now. It finally dropped a good roll this week. Roll 3 is just meh, this week. Roll 1 is Arc and Roll 2 is Void. --- --- --- --- SUROS DIS-47 (RoF: 52, Impact: 35): Roll 3 has Fitted Stock, Rodeo and Rifled Barrel. Though, if you want this gun with Full Auto, save it. Hakke Gaheris-D Hand Cannon (RoF: 22, Impact: 81): Roll 1 with Surrounded, Outlaw and Reinforced Barrel or Roll 2 with Crowd Control, Spray and Play and Hand Loaded/HCR. Both are pretty decent. But if you’re looking for specific rolls, save this one. SUROS DIS-43 Scout Rifle (RoF: 37, Impact: 48): Roll 1 has High Caliber Rounds, Counterbalance and Single Point Sling. This is pretty good, actually. HCR staggers snipers a bit to flinch them, and CB makes up for the stability of this gun. Otherwise, save this one. Omolon Uffern HC4 Hand Cannon (Rof: 22, Impact: 87): Roll 3 has Army of One, Rifled Barrel and Icarus. I heard some of you guys are looking for Icarus rolls on HCs and I honestly think that it’s a pretty good perk for HCs, in general. Do explosive rounds not have damage drop off? If so wouldn't that help alleviate the damage drop off of the Judith d suffers from with base range? Hmm...

To which level should I rank every faction at least?

My prep: 2 inactive factions edged on all three chars, active faction, crucible, crypt arch, gunsmith, queen, Eris and variks also. Some edging to be done still for those, but all in hand. Materials: apx 1000 each spin metal etc. 700 worm spore, 300 hadium. 500 heavy in vault, apx 350 SC, 1000 motes, 1300 armor parts and 7500 weapons. There will be lots of ppl with more, but I'm fairly happy with where I' m at. Biggest problem. Vault space. About 6 slots available each for weps and armor, across all chars. Some deleting to be done...... Now which firefly last extremity am I keeping, and do I really need 3 X bronze int disc chests....

Judith. Crowd Control, Reactive Reload, Explosive Rounds. The trifecta of damage perks, on the hardest hitting primary in the game. You NEED this gun in your life. I hope you saved the package. ;)

There is an ARI-45 with Perfect Balance, Counterbalance, and Smallbore. If you can manage the small mag size, that's pretty much perfect. Fingers crossed that Bungie buffs low ROF autos!

Finally the Dis 47. Grabbing one for each character, and will probably pick the one with Rodeo on all 3. That thing fires so fast do you really need a full auto?

Quick question here. I have been away from Destiny since March, just started playing again. I have an Arminius-d package taking up inventory space and would like to know if it is still a worthwhile weapon in the current meta and worth hanging onto until a good roll comes along? From my experience back then good rolls are very few and far between and the current meta seems to be GoP, Hawksaw and PDX -45. Thanks
