The Oryx fight is the best PvE team encounter in this game by far. We actually need more of that, not less, but less is what we will get in the new raid, apparently, because playing as a team is too much, I guess.

Edited by WEMP2468: 8/28/2016 9:01:16 PMActually your on your own man I like the fact that new raid is more about light level I dont like the fact that I know what to do but cant get it done just cause someone cant do it too that's stupid and as a player that just takes your freedom of completing raids now I can mostly rely on myself and not others and more importantly I could solo it which will take less time trying to get a an unexperienced group.

Edited by Aqua: 8/25/2016 8:48:27 PMless mechanics and more combat. I don't see the problem.

"Wrath of the Machine will more closely resemble Vault of Glass." Sold.

I cannot wait for the new raid. Looks and sounds amazing. Got a whole week of night shifts booked off for it. Just slowly edging my crucible, vanguard and factions now. All the rest are ready to go. I'm looking forward to the raid being both inside and outside. It will look amazing and finally a nice warlock chest piece from the raid. Roll on September 20

KF was mediocre compared to VoG and CE. The only good rewards from KF was the sniper and machine gun and the pulse... Kinda. CE had pretty good weapons for the most part and the gear looked pretty nice. It was short and felt like a difficult strike, but the gear and Crota boss fight was and still is epic. VoG had great looking gear, consistent mechanics, had great weapons through out the entire raid and was BY FAR the most mysterious. I think most people would agree with that. And the exotic chest... Nuff said. Each raid felt great to complete. The Templar was a challenge and was fun. Atheon was a great fight and to see him crumble was a great sight. Crotas end felt great to complete especially Crota. Saying 3...2...1... DOWN HIM!!!! Thousands of rockets would go off and the over soul lit up the sky. It was a great accomplishment and the music was epic as well. KF was a fun raid, but soon felt like a chore after 20-30 completions. The boss fights were fun. The Warpriest had nice mechanics and felt good to complete. Golgoroth was a very difficult boss fight and was very team based. The sisters were just annoying and left you deaf by the time you were done. Oryx was pretty fun and epic but it was jump based and so was the entire raid. Beating Oryx felt great and to see him drift away was very satisfying. Each raid was fun but VoG and CE were fun and gave great rewards. KF was fun, but didn't feel that rewarding. #Tamponmasterrace

Oryx best boss... No.... Atheon was the best.
-
It's not going to be less. Just less mechanics and more combat. I for one welcome that.

Edited by Silent: 8/24/2016 7:19:02 AMKing's Fall sucks. It's just learning the same mechanics and doing them over and over. As long as you play your role, you're very unlikely to die. VoG, however, is about survival. You have your job, but there's more of an aspect that if you don't watch out, you will die very quickly. It's, IMO, more fun when you have to put more effort than, "Plate 2 is up."

I mean, I liked the Atheon fight. It was mostly shooting the boss which was fun. It wasn't a pre-determined damage number like in Kings fall, you had to down him with your own fire power. But that's just me, I feel bad for you since it appears you liked the mechanics of KF
-
Good, most of the mechanics they use are stupid
-
After reading the comments this kid is clearly trolling and fishing for likes
-
Uh Atheon
-
Kf is the worst raid of all lol, endless bosses with perfectly executed, boring strats where if 1 person messes up its over. Love vog, love crota despite its length but can't bring myself to play kf often, hope wrath of the machines is vog-like

I used to raid, a lot weekly, it granted the 'best' gear & rewards, it no longer does so I no longer waste my time. Same for nightfall! Since the priority is 'balance' there is no reason to acquire any specific gear. It affords only an 'aesthetic' advantage, and, in war, looks does not kill. As for an unreleased raid reviewed by a magazine: it's like any news media report, filled with 'impressions' and devoid of facts. I listen to the news only to get a weather report, and that is always wrong! I know not to believe everything I read online, writers always have an agenda. Play it yourself and form your own opinion. Like it or hate it, but do it based on your own experience, not some paid writer. There are only three truths: yours; mine; and THE! Form your own opinion based on your own experience, not anyone else's opinions. Think for yourself.

Atheon is definitely the best boss then Skolas and then Quodron
-
Cool I thought vog was a good raid
-
As per usual, people have already made up their mind and figured out 100% accurately what the UNRELEASED content will be like. This happens with each and every content release. People start purporting to know everything. Which quite obviously, they do not. Some reviewer somewhere says something, and suddenly it's gospel. But you mark my words... These same people will be playing the raid over and over and over again.

Edited by Ve7n00m: 8/25/2016 9:38:45 AMThe Oryx fight may have been the best (actually Qudron was but opinions, right?) but we don't need 6 months of players rejecting people because they haven't beat it 30+ times. A Raid should be hard but available to everyone that wants to do it at any time. Crota was my favourite Raid, then VOG then Oryx... A Raid more like VOG and Crota is perfect, get in have some fun and get out 3 times a week!
-
And we will have it for a year.
-
I don't really care, I just want the rewards to be worth a damn.
-
I would actually like them to have all raids drop gear at the current light level I think it would give me more options. Right now I don't play the old raids because the weapons are no use to me in activities that use light level
-
VOG is so much better
-
It it's more like vault of glass, that's great. That raid was a great balance of mechanics and mob fights (except the maze, that sucked). If it's more like crota, that sucks. Crota is basically just a glorified strike.
-
If it's anything like vog, then I can't -blam!-ing wait. Vog was by far (and still is till this day!) The best thing pve had to offer.
-
Yeah I loved the lag because the game couldn't handle the amount of adds on the field .....
-
Oryx was the worst encounter just an overall hot mess of a raid
