Sm4sh? You mean tr4sh? Play a real game (that being melee).

Melee is a glitchfest with uncustomizable controls and shitty graphics. It's so dated it hurts. I hate tap jump and motion controls A LOT.
-
Glitch fest? Do you consider wave dashing and L cancelling glitches? Lol

Edited by Darches: 8/22/2016 9:50:06 PMThey were patched out. Lol Melee was OK but I REALLY -blam!-ING HATE TAP JUMP. I tried playing Muramasa: The Demon Blade but... -blam!-ING TAP JUMP.

Tap jump is one of the only things wrong with melee, there needs to be a way to turn it off. They removed the only things that make smash competitive.
-
Are you sure? Still seems competitive to me. At least, more than Destiny. More characters, options, and mind games; less camping.
-
If you watch smash tournaments at all, Melee is always the main event. Brawl is completely dead. Sm4sh will be too as soon as a new smash happens. Destiny is terrible at a competitive level lol.

Edited by Darches: 8/23/2016 12:17:46 AMI find that Sm4sh looks and plays much better. I don't know how tournament players input so fast but I'm on 3DS so... I think for Destiny to be competitive all exotics, classes (except Gunslinger), and snipers need to be banned, HC's need more accuracy, and mid/slow firing AR's and slow PR's need to kill 1 bullet faster.
-
Well of course it looks better, but that doesn't matter to me. The game mechanics are much more important. I still play NES games occasionally, because they're good. The only controller that should be used for Smash is a GameCube controller. As for which one plays better... we'll see which one is still around in 5-10 years.

Edited by Darches: 8/23/2016 1:11:34 AMWithout custom controls I'd think that Melee will have to die out eventually. I almost didn't buy Sm4sh because the demo didn't have custom controls and it felt horrible to me.

It's something you have to get used to, even tap jump. I think the controls are perfect except for that, but resetting the stick to neutral is extremely important anyway. If you accidentally jump, that's just an input that shouldn't have happened because you messed up. Plus, everyone is at an even playing field. Nobody has an advantage because of a different controller or button layout.

I mean, as an accessibility option. Games are more popular today because they're accessible. The colorblind radar REALLY helps me in Destiny, for example.
