Getting Iron Banner Gear After The Last Taken King Iron Banner, but Before Rise of Iron
(DISCLAIMER: This is only a suggestion/request.)
As the last TAKEN KING Iron Banner is coming to a close, and some people, such as me, are missing some Iron Banner gear that they desperately want. So, to fix this, I think that Bungie should add some kind of one day to one week event, before Rise of Iron, in which Lord Saladin comes to the Tower bringing all Year Two Taken King Iron Banner gear which will be sold for Legendary Marks or Glimmer. This gives all players a chance to acquire the Iron Banner gear that they did not get during the Taken King, so they could "Iron Banner themselves up" for the upcoming DLC. I feel if this event occurs it should be called something like: "The Iron Market." (And Bungie, if you happen to come across this post, and the majority of people want this event to happen, PLEASE add this before Rise of Iron! Thanks!)
(The poll determines wether or not this would be a good edition for the Destiny community before Rise of Iron.)

THIS IS TRUE:
Although this event (if it happens) makes getting Iron Banner Gear from the Taken King easier, you will be able to get year one and two Iron Banner gear from engrams in Rise of Iron called: "Iron Engrams." Like I said, you are able to get both year one and year two Iron Banner gear from it.

1 ReplyThe thing is you had plenty of opportunities to earn or buy the gear. If you didn't get it during the time of the event, which there was plenty of, I don't see why it should drop anywhere else. And before you call me a snowflake for having all the armor, hundreds of thousands of guardians earned their gear during the time of the event, my characters look as average as a t-shirt. It wasn't even hard to get the gear either, and if it didn't drop for you then you could have easily bought it like me for certain pieces of gear. A couple other points, Saladin only sold the original vanilla helmets once and no one complained. No one even posted anything like this until now, which is suprising, but seeing it actually is a bit unfortunate. Also Iron engrams are going to be a thing that as far as we know can drop anything from Pre-RoI not counting raid gear. Hope you enjoy buying engrams. I know I will for sure. My point is there is no reason there should be this last chance sort of deal. We already had it.

I think it be nice if they were sold by a vendor or put in a loot tables as rewards for weekly stuff but I won't lose sleep if they aren't, though I think it's a shame if it disappears altogether

I hate the iron engrams becuase i have saved my year 1 IB gear and show it off in pvp and people always message "woah how do i get that armor". :( Now everyone will have it😭

2 RepliesI got 3 lines into your post and knew what you wanted, and I knew then i was going to let you know about iron engrams coming in RoI. But then I kept reading and saw others had already mentioned them and you'd added that to your post. So all I have to say now is that this idea will never see be made reality because of Iron engrams.

2 RepliesNooooo waaaay. The gear isn't hard to get. Anyone who wants it that badly for roi will have already gone out of they're way to get most if not all of it by now, and theres probably gonna be one or two bananas from now till roi.

1 ReplyGreat idea but if u think Bungie can do this before ROI that will not happen. Look at how often we get content. I cannot see them taking the time to do it. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

2 RepliesHonestly I doubt this is the last Iron Banner for TTK. Think about it, Bungie isn't going to want to draw attention away from RoI's story/raid. So week one is out, Sept. 20-26. Then the next week is partially in October. I expect Iron Banner the week before RoI, Sept. 13-19, to build up hype for RoI.

Full set of armour for all 3 classes And all weapons with great rolls and I only played iron banner since feb this year this iron banner I get 3 shot guns 2 hand cannons ans 3 helmets and 1 chest piece

Make em available and re rollable. I've gotten 7 ghost shells and 2 hand cannons this iron banner, counting the vendor roll hand cannon I bought. Its ridiculous how hard it is to get a hand cannon with the roll I want. I'm not even that picky. RNG is just shet.

I just wish that the legendary drops prioritized weapons over armor. The number of chest pieces this iron banner drop was ridiculous.
