Seriously can hand cannons not named tlw get some love?!?
Let's ignore the fact that the smallest guns in the game have the most recoil by a mile. Let's ignore the small clips. Let's even ignore the fire rate and pathetic range. The only thing I ask is that if you are dead on and pull the trigger, it should hit the mark. Let's be real, they can only compete in auto, shotgun, and fusion rifle range. When you get close enough every shot counts so it's bs that shooting a hand cannon at its max rof causes ghost bullets. Primaries suck bad enough, they don't need ghost bullets too.

3 RepliesHand cannons are pretty op atm, it's cos y'all noobs don't know how to hit, put some range on if u wanna hit, I tried thorn after its huge nerf cos my class wasn't lvl 40 and I destroyed everyone in the crucible because it barely had ghost bullets because of its range, and remember this was after nerf

8 RepliesYou realize the last word probably needs the most love out of all the hand cannons right? They've basically taken it out back and beat it with a baseball bat, doused it in gasoline and then lit it on fire. They've nerfed the shit out of that gun. :(

Shooting a hand cannon at Max RoF causes the gun to fire when the reticule hasn't reset yet. And why the -blam!- would you fire a HC as fast as possible anyways? That's just a terrible plan. Especially when you have one that could potentially two tap like the vendor roll from IB.

BUMP! I hate there ghost bullets. They even happen in PvE! I was doing Kings Fall and I was shooting thrall and sometimes nothing would happen, or it would be a body shot not a head shot. I really hope that BUNGIE buffs hand cannons. My Eesluna (however you spell it) my baby hawkmoon has a pretty good roll on it but what I really like is the outlaw it has on it. But because of the ghost bullets this cant prock in PvP.

Has anyone else noticed that the hand cannon drop rate has increased a lot? They still suck, but it seems like a lot more of them are dropping - some I've not had or even seen before.

i can't stand using hand cannons because i just dislike them personally but my eyasluna isn't THAT terrible. if i had to use one that would be i,t like for the multiple weapons bounty, it also gets better range than my pulse rifle for some reason

See none of these things bug me about hand cannons, as I believe these types of weapons would behave this way, for the most part. I'd maybe tweak how damage drop off works for handcannons, but only one that annoys me is TLW, and to be clear my reasons are based off nothing more than I think it's stupid to be able to fan the hammer and aim down sight and have any sort of accuracy, from a real world logical standpoint. (Nothing to do with game mechanics, so we are clear.) I AM NOT asking or advocating more nerfs.

The only hc i have an issue With is hawkm there is just something of With it , all the other hc are fine in my opinion . As long as you are aware of the radar and backpedel and jump around when People rush you you will be fine . At least in my experience . Also take cover and play the angles of the maps .

They should know that TLW is still way OP, still the most used HC in the game, you can't use Hawkmoon and do good well maybe some people can but I agree with the post.

2 Repliesit is a hand CANNON, so it may kick a little bit, just saying. If you want less "ghost bullets" you have to have rifled or reinforced barrel, using anything else makes handcannons super short range and you will inevitably engage people at a range that looks acceptable in your ads screen. I'm not sure why you want faster rof if you are having trouble hitting your target but regardless the tier 1 archetypes are a 3 shot kill, if you buffed the rof on them we would have legendary left and right as or almost as OP as the thorn y1. I promise handcannons are fantastic right now you just need a good one. What handcannon do you use?

4 RepliesTo be fair, a handgun, especially a hand cannon, will have more recoil to use to begin with because the only thing you have for support is your wrist. Meanwhile, a rifle has your arm for support and shoulder as a brace.

Do I use a scout or an HC? A scout. Do I use a pulse or an HC? A pulse. Duh. Do I use an auto rifle or an HC? The answer is never the hand cannon. Then there are those who would argue that if you have one or two specific hand cannons with good rolls, then it isn't an issue. Firstly, RNGesus doesn't love everyone. Secondly, if your logic is that one or two hand cannons out of the whole bunch are okay with good rolls... then obviously the weapon type needs to be reworked (along with that backwards mindset).
