why are you screwing over xbox one players?
Why in the hell are you stomping on the xbox one community? We pay just as much as the playstation community, you said the ps4 exclusives would only be exclusive for a year but you literally lied to the community. A year is enough in 2017 we'll be playing Destiny 2. You are punishing us for owning an xbox one. This is just a spit in the face to the xbox one community. I've been playing the game for 2 years I've dealt with the lag, glitches, lack of private matches in year 1-2, poor balancing, and shitty exclusives I just want the exotics and map I've waited a year for. I wish you could go through what the xbox one players went through. screw you Bungie and Activision the only reason I still play this game is to play with my friends. And seriously Activision stop sucking Bungie off give us the exclusives we were told we'd get in year 3 and stop shafting us.

1 ReplyAlso by a year they meant a Destiny year so Year 3 (which is a year for them) is The release of Destiny 2, Rise of Iron is still year 2. I do believe that each year will contain at least 2 DLC's.

I couldn't care less. As an Xbox player, the PS exclusives don't make or break the game for me, when we finally got the vanilla exclusives after a year I didn't even use them. I might have 100 kills with the Hawkmoon in crucible and I can bet I have zero with the 4th Horseman. The strike was awful too. As long as we don't have to play against people who have anything exclusive that is more powerful than we have access to then who cares. Xbox players don't play against PS owners so the exclusives would not hold any advantage.

26 RepliesSo uh, there's this thing called other exclusives that Xbox players have that us PlayStation players don't. They may be other games, etc but you don't hear us complaining. It's a couple of guns and a map or 2. And excuse me but we all put up with the lag, glitches, poor balancing and the rest. So get off your high horse, don't be that guy

I do see where you are coming from they said that all PlayStation exclusives would come for Xbox as well by that they meant the exotics you will be receiving the year 2 Jade Rabbit and Zen Meteor in The next Year 2 DLC Rise of Iron Year three will be the DLC released with Destiny 2 so in other words The Rise of Iron is yet again another add-on to The Taken King. Yes this was all confirmed by Deej on 8/16/2016 when they had their live broadcast at gamescon Germany but they will be another PlayStation exclusive ship and map in Rise of Iron.

The assumption right now and has been they would release the yearly content to Xbox once it expired. The issue here in that line of thinking is Destiny has content WINDOWS... it has it's contracts which Xbox still technically hasn't paid for. So the issue at hand is whether or not Microsoft is screwing us or Bungie is. Production costs absolutely NEVER go down and it all depends on what Xbox was quoted for. If the contract was modified? Microsoft doesn't have to contact us per their terms and conditions same as Bungie. So my question for cozmo or deej? What is the official date we can expect such content, if ever, and why is that date changed from the expectation of 1 year?[/quote]

6 RepliesThe answer is simple: They feel like MS screwed them during the Halo years for not allowing Halo to be multi-platform. This is kind of their way of striking back at MS- by trying to offer incentive to convert to PS4 rather than stick with MS.

I understand why ps got exclusives in year one and two but I think even offering exclusives to Sony through the final year of this game is bungie just being spiteful for the bad breakup with Microsoft. I really don't let it bother me though because the gear for the most part isn't great.

THEY didnt say all exclusive content, will be 1 year only. as in 365 days. and exclusives end. Dont like it? TAKE IT UP WITH MICROSOFT. and stop being a little child. its business. Sony paid more money to have timed exclusives. just like microsoft has done in the past.
