Destiny Improvements - Events, Rewards and Raids

Destiny has always had a lot of potential, but I still don't feel like it's being taken advantage of by the developers. Anything I mention is just ideas and some mechanics might not be plausible with the current servers or other silly limitations. Events ----
Public events are extremely underwhelming and not even worth doing. So why can't we have big events that actually make the world the developers created feel alive? I'm thinking like, you are in the tower and an alert goes off with an announcer, then you go over an information board which is alerting willing guardians that (for example) a large invasion force of hive have been tracked and are going to land at the mothyards. The willing guardians would then go to the board and sign on to defend, they are either then transported a few minutes before the start of the event, or they go to the cosmodrome and drive there. When they get there, they are put into the high level instance and meet up with other guardians that are also here to defend Earth, the event begins and a huge drop ship comes in and the hive begin invading the area, players must then fight back the waves of enemies, while its happening minigames could occur around, say a communication beacon starts to be setup by a group of enemies and a fireteam must break off from the main group and go and stop the enemies from establishing it (maybe if it was failed, then more enemies would appear to prolong the time it takes to get to the boss). After a while the mentioned boss appears and starts pushing through the enemies to attack guardians, keep in mind this isn't supposed to be an easy devil walker, we are talking more strike boss, maybe harder depending on participating guardians light levels. After taking down the boss, the guardians will be told to return to the tower, where either a current NPC or a new "commander" NPC congratulates the guardians for protecting Earth and gives them some rewards that are useful, see more later about rewards. A similar scenario could occur at the tower, with enemies attacking either the current area, or a new instance area. So much potential here that would make it feel like your solar system is actually being actively took over and you are fighting to take it back. These events wouldn't be common or incredibly rare, they could happen once a day or even week. I'd go for the latter personally so they don't feel like throwaway events, the board I mentioned could show a map tracking a force of hive moving around the system so players can attempt to predict when an event will happen and the warning will give players a couple hours to prepare. Again all flexible, but you get the idea.
Rewards ----
Rewards always seem to be engrams or some rare weapons or armour no one cares about. Why can't we see things like telemetries dropped and synthesis? New synthesis that give a split of special/heavy etc. Basically anything to add more variety instead of the same old useless things. Three of coins could even be a drop, again loads of potential.
Raids ----
'RNG' is a big part of this game, but why is it not implemented in experiences such as raids? Raids to me are just bigger versions of strikes with a few new mechanics. I expected there to be a diverse set of challenges, why not make there be more possibilities of encounters when entering a raid? The classic disappearing platform zone could be in an RNG pool of different zones, one I could think of could be like some symbols you must decipher to unlock a door, just to make raids more diverse. Even the encounters could be random, with maybe one time getting a different thing to do, e.g standing on pads, destroying things, go like this could be added to strikes also, again so much potential. I'm going to mention raid matchmaking again, some people just don't want to sign up to a forum to post just to find 5 other people to do a big part of the game they paid for. So why isn't matchmaking in? I've had people tell me it's because raids are supposed to be a team mode, but there's no difference between going on a forum to find players than there is clicking find raid and then being put in a lobby with 5 other people. In the lobby you would then be able to talk to the others, check out their guardian and then if you are happy with your team, you all click "Ready Up". Not rocket science Bungie, it would also open up the raids to more casual players looking for some new action.
Buttons ----
Emotes are cool and everything, but that's 4 buttons dedicated to some silly animations you won't even use that much when doing the do around the world. So why can't these buttons be dedicated to something else when do I missions, strikes etc? I'm thing like hot keys, you could bind down to say a synthesis pop, up to switch from a sniper to a shotgun, imagine being able to snipe some knights and then jump down, press a button, pick up some special ammo and then start pumping out pain to some acolytes! It'd make the game flow more and be really convenient, you could have a button on the ghost menu that switches it back to emotes when you need to dance with someone! No digging through menus for something so simple as getting heavy ammo. Would also open an opportunity to other buffs people could activate on the go.
I have lots of other ideas, but will spare you the reading. Anyway, thanks for reading if you did and if you have any additions please share them :D
