PLEASE HOTFIX THE LAST HOTFIX!

Firstly I would like to say I know all there is to know about NAT types, networking, routers, and my PS4 is fully optimised to play online games. I have played 54 days ingame time in crucible alone and I have been through every error, glitch, and fix there has ever been and I am telling you that there is something truly wrong with the game since Hotfix 2.3.1.1, and [b]to redirect me/us to some network trouble shooting page would be insulting.[/b] [b][u]I fear that hotfix 2.3.1.1, the one to reduce BEAVER errors, has negatively affected more players than the hotfix was intended to help.[/u][/b] [b]PROBLEMS I HAVE FOUND SINCE THE HOTFIX (PERSISTS AFTER REVERT)[/b] Upon starting the game I can join one matchmaking activity, including the tower. I will join as normal then upon leaving, breaking up fire team (or staying in the tower until everyone leaves) all match making gets stuck on ‘evaluating guardians' on every matching activity. The only activities I can then join are the tower and planets but ALONE (sometimes the planets slowly fill with players) or anything that can be soloed. The only way I can join any matchmaking activities is in a fire team, once inside the activity my connection is absolutely fine. Sometimes, after leaving the first match the NAT types 3 problem message comes up. My NAT types is 2, and this is the only game giving me this problem/message since the hotfix. I can only think that some how the game now has an unnamed error in which it suddenly thinks my NAT type is 3 and restricts my activities, and joining a fire team some how overrides this error. [b][u]Also since the hotfix I have found COMMAND PROMPTS randomly on my screen[/b][/u], they’re white and can be anywhere in a column format. They can remain there until I exit the game or sometimes all of a sudden go, and I have had up to two at one time. (SEE SCREEN SHOT) Something is wrong there. Many others have had similar issues with the game, including being unable to join a fire team ALL SINCE THE HOTFIX. I personally have tried everything I can possibly do on my end to try and get past these annoying bugs, including different routers, checking everything, resting everything, rebuilding PS4 database, reinstalling the game, you name it! (Just to ad, switching from ether line to WiFi or the other way will give me my one shot at matching for some reason) My question is [b][u]IS THERE A HOTFIX TO FIX THE LAST HOTFIX ON THE WAY?[/u][/b] Because there is clearly something wrong with the game at the moment and people are getting frustrated. PLEASE HELP! The game is becoming unplayable.

    Same. I can't do anything. Sometimes I manage to get nearly an hour of play time before I am error coded out. Baboons, weasels, beetles and centipedes. After a string of baboons or beetles I am met with a weasel or centipede.. and then my modem/router starts resetting itself. All since the last update/hotfix. Prior to that, I never had a single error code. NO OTHER GAMES IN MY POSSESSION ARE DOING THIS. MY MODEM/ROUTER DOES NOT RESET ITSELF WHILE PLAYING OTHER ONLINE GAMES. Only when I am playing destiny and only after I am met with a string of errors does my router begin resetting itself. I have been saying this since the hotfix went live. I am constantly told to clear my cache and be sure my nat type is open. UPnP set and all that. When I say my network is set up to Bungie's exact specifications for Destiny, I am either ignored or laughed at or told the most infuriatingly useless thing ever, "I'm not having any of these issues. Must be you/your ISP"

  • I'm morbidly glad someone else is experiencing this issue, i was beginning to think i was the only one since Bungie haven't commented regarding these issues for days now! My game has barely been playable for 9 days now if not longer due to these exact issues to the word that Antox666 describes. I too know my way around a router or two and it is not on our end where the problem lies so continually being shrugged off to network troubleshooting etc is rather insulting at this stage. Palming off this problem as one of our own is deeply unsettling from a corporate giant such as bungie, i have supported their software and everything inbetween for 13 years and spent alot of money in the process. I continue to spend lots of finances etc on Destiny, a game i love very much but these continuous issues are wearing thin now. As much as these Nat/beaver errors are a great annoyance and wastes our valuable time i worry more that Bungie go dark and don't comment to atleast address there is a problem and if nothing else just give us some sense of solace that they are aware and working on a fix as we speak. Myself and many friends are unable to play as of this time, we get one match then it's bricked with these exact issues aformentioned above. PLEASE Bungie, don't ignore your paying customers; lets get this fixed so we can all enjoy this great game now and moving forwards into Rise of Iron. We Are Waiting...

  • Having the exact same problems. I can only join 1 game, and getting my NAT type set to 3. Pls fix.

  • My wife and I have had this same issue since the last update. We had been able to join as a fireteam and play side by side, now we can't even play one match together. It's very frustrating to by a game we can play together and now because of an update to fix connection problems, we can't connect. This should have been found during testing before the release of the update.
