You see, the problem isn't special weapons. It's primaries Back in HoW when Shottys had a shit ton more range, they were balanced. Back in HoW snipers were balanced too. Why were they balanced? Because primaries were strong In year 1, if you missed your headshot, you were punished by thorn or messenger cross-map. Nowadays, you have time to QuickDraw your primary, or just shoot another bodyshot. With a shotgun, you couldn't just warrior good players because you'd get melted by TLW. Nowadays, their TLW doesn't even register half the time so you just run straight at them. The meta is dominated by grenades and special Instead of nerfing snipers and shotguns. Instead of nerfing Mida and TLW and Hawksaw Why don't we BUFF primaries! And to those who didn't think Thorn took skill, were wrong. Nowadays, hand cannon fights are whoever has better hit registration. Gunfights now are more focused on making sure your shots hit the target, rather than aiming for precision shots. Year 1 thorn: whoever could aim better and get the two headshots. Year 2 thorn: spam bodyshots, hoping they connect, and let the recoil give you the 1 headshot necessary for a 3-tap. Well, sorry for this long ass essay. #MakePrimariesGreatAgain #BringBackHoW
