Straight line? You clearly don't know how to use shoulder charge and Twilight Garrison.
-
Clearly you dont understand that i didnt mention either of those.
-
The only real drawback there is the melee range (which has been buffed recently). Once you get used to skating, you can use it regularly, not just in a straight line. warlocks sacrifice agility and regeneration for their armour (and an exotic slot, but even that was nerfed). Titans are more agile and have better recovery than Hunters (again, with no tradeoff)

Edited by Tilyu: 7/31/2016 8:53:01 AMYes the skating can be used in more than a straight line, but i havent seen people good enough to master it like that. Also, not trying to attack, but do you understand the meaning of agile? If anything hunters agility are far beyond titans. But that does not mean they are faster. Also, i understand the warlock thing, but i was trying to just make a point there, and if anything the armor and recovery can be almost on par with each other.

I did mean agile, they can use Catapult to effectively sidestep mid-combat.
-
Edited by Tilyu: 7/31/2016 8:56:57 AMI can promise you i have never seen anyone do that, nor have i ever seen anyone using catapult.
-
Really? Everyone was doing it back when I actually played.
-
Yeah im dead serious. The only thing i could consider seeing a titan sidestep, is twillight garrison. And not a lot of people even use that anymore.
-
Yea, I guess TG may have made catapult obsolete... Didn't consider that, I haven't played PvP in a long time.
-
Edited by Tilyu: 7/31/2016 9:05:41 AMEven before that, every titan i knew either used Control or Greater height, i used to play a titan 24/7 and still dont even know how you would go about "side-stepping" with catapult.

That's definitely what people were doing, basically titan skating sideways in gunfights.
