I've heard a lot about this but have never had it happen personally. I've been playing since day one and have used many fund with firefly. So I'm just wondering does this bug only effect certain players or is it all around and I've just gotten lucky. I mean I have a lot of guns with fire fly that I use regularly so I'm just curious if I should be worried?

If you ask me, you're lucky. I don't believe this issue only affects certain players. In my experience, firefly can crash anybody if the right circumstances present themselves. What those requirements are to cause the game client to crash though.. only Bungie's developers can answer. We know it happens on all consoles and with multiple different guns with the firefly perk. We know it started happening after update 2.0
