Don't Farm the Nightfall!!!!!
Some of you probably know this, but for those who don't consider this a PSA of sortd.
If you're like me, you're all about fashion. And you don't have a full set of flayer cloaks. And you may be considering farming the nightfall for them, or you've already tried. So when me and my usual Destiny-Besty Charles started farming it repeatedly(at least 8 times yesterday) and we found it interesting how neither of us got a cloak or a treads.
So apparently since they didn't use the heroic version for the nightfall, the standard selected strike from the Mars directory is bugged to not drop anything. Which means that it's impossible to get either a sexy cloak or a treads from the nightfall this week.
This to me is especially irritating since I guarantee that Bungie knows this, and they probably just did the strike anyway. Since I farmed Devouring Maw last week, Darkblade's Helm and spite before that, and so on I figured it would be the same this week, but nope.

9 RepliesNot to mention the fact that is seems the Three of Coins does not work on this strike either. My buddies and me ran one last night and all three of us had our Coins on and it didn't take it from any of us.

damn i need a Solar cloak... i knew something was fishy when i ran it and no engrams were dropping at the end. its a shame too since the Void sword makes quick work of the 3 Flyers....

I tried once with all my characters and not a single drop. I stopped right there because I know the regular strike version drops 0 for like 6 months of play for me. Garbage strike bungie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good thing I already have 4 treads upon stars with excellent rolls from another nightfall, I was looking to get the stupid cloak
