Low rate of fire auto rifles need another buff
With the amount of ammo that these types of auto rifles have along with the damage there is a reason nobody uses these types of guns that much. In PVP it is so pathetic how it takes an entire clip just to kill one guy. The other auto rifle types at least kill 3 or 4 depending on the situation but still. Its even worse in crucible, almost every single gun outplays this weapon even scout rifles up close.

Autorifles actually need less of a buff than you think. Here's why: AR's do, by and large, slightly less critical damage than other guns. However, they do more damage with BODY shots. Their headshot TTK (time to kill) is higher, but their bodyshot TTK is [i]lower [/i]because body damage is 80% of crit, not 66.7% like other guns. An autorifle is the neophyte's gun, or the gun for the person with less than perfect coordination (like me). If the best you can do in Crucible is hold the trigger and guide the bullets into your enemy's torso, an AR will give you a better chance. And once you master the art of head-cracking, you can move up to a more advanced gun, which rewards precision more and kills faster.
