So bungie, when is that Fabian Strategy buff inbound?
Very, very few people can argue that the fabian strategy is not in need of a buff. The gun is outperformed at medium ranges by other autos, and the front lines perk requires you to be in shotgun range to activate. A gun that force you to be in close range to activate the exotic perk should reward you for being so close, or at least provide more of a damage boost.
My ideas:
Keep the perk as is. Keep the damage the same before and after the front lines perk activation. Possibly add a ammo refill ability when perk activates to account for any loss of ammo beforehand

Change the perk entirely. When aiming down sights, the gun provides a juggernaut shield around your body (but not your head) that has about 100 hp (half that of the normal jug shield). There will be a 5 second cooldown timer for when the shield is activated before it can be reactivated. (Cooldown can be adjusted)

3 RepliesHow about an ace of spades buff too? Or all handcannons. Idk though I'm open to discussion. I just feel like it's hard to hit anything with handcannons, including AoS. Tlalaloc is pretty good right now.

My biggest problem with it is ammo count. 40 isn't enough considering the perk it has turns it into a Doctrine.

At this very moment the front line perk activates within slide shotgun range so you know what usually happens. At this very moment when comparing Fabian Strategy to the other mid impact exotic auto rifles there is no reason to use this one. I have the number to back up my claim however I'm just waiting for the comments that go like "Fabian Strategy is fine and doesn't need a buff, you just have to know how to use the gun". I guess that's why I almost never see it in the crucible, everyone has to be a scrub than. PS. Warlocks and Hunters actually got decent primary and special weapons. The Titan got the shaft :(

I got killed by it a few times this last IB. It caught me off guard, had to do a double take.

Yeah change the perk. It doesn't activate close or fast enough, the perk makes the gun worse as you have awful Stability and increased RoF messes it up, and you burn through ammo quicker. A waste of an exotic. Increase Stability and change the perk.

Put it back to where it was. Then it should be good. But if you feel like it needs more, give it a small ammo buff. Change ammo from 40 to 45-50 area.
