I am LL 335 on all three of my characters and have been for some time. What is the twisted rationale in having end game rewards dropping at LL 334? This IB has been the worst - I've gotten twice the number of 334 drops as I have 335. [b]You really need to change this policy[/b]. It may have been originally considered an incentive to grind even harder once you reach 335, but in truth for me the opposite is true - it makes me want to stop playing and just wait for RoI. When IB has two unique gauntlets available as rewards, which I need at 335 to level up all my alts, but 2/3s of the drops I get are 334, it makes me feel like I am really wasting my time. This feels like a stick in the eye - stop micromanaging the game! Remove this limitation for your 335 players, who are likely some of your most devoted and committed fans of the game!

I second this post. I got to rank 5 on all characters (all at LL 335). Even after that, the end-of-match completion dropped more blue (rare) items then purple (legendary). Most of my purpose items were at 334. When I see a 334 item dropped, I felt like it was an insult. Additionally, the rank 5 completion package from Lord Saladin includes a 320 ghost. Why isn't this updated to guarantee a 335 ghost? From my three packages, the accompanying legendary items there 335, 334, and 334. I was so disappointed.

The update that gave us Blighted Chalice and the increase from 320 to 335 was supposed to make the looting system more rewarding. The recent IB drops have disproportionately "bad" drops, which make the game less rewardingly. That's all I am saying.

Edited by burnsdg: 7/25/2016 7:48:17 PMIt isn't just IB, it's Challenge of Elders, King's Fall, Court of Oryx, pretty much any PvE content too. It's absolutely INSANE I run 3x 335's and get 334 drops. And exotic engrams that are supposed to decrypt "at or above your current light" decrypting at 334 when my light is 335? It's so bad I keep a 334 weapon on each character just so I can DROP my light before opening a raid chest, match rewards being given, or decrypting an engram at Rahool/Ives. I lost count of how many ~300 light blue class items I got as rank up rewards from this IB. I'm not a PvP guy in Destiny, the pitiful rewards I got from actually getting myself up to IB Rank 5 for the first time ever don't make me really very interested in ever doing IB again. And through my entire time playing IB not a single Nirwen's dropped for me though I got half a dozen crap sniper rifles. At least the Nirwen's that Saladin is selling was a really good one, so I bought it.
