There isn't any lore about it, but based on the rate of which Guardians perma-die and that not sending the Vanguard into a panic means our numbers are pretty high

Yes and no. Guardians are very powerful yes, but our character is an unrealistic standard and one of if not the most powerful guardian in existence. Like that Archon we kill on the second mission? Guy had a belt of half a dozen skulls of guardians he killed personally. That Array mission we ran that we did as a freshly revived guardian? A veteran Fireteam died trying to do that while we soloed it.

We also killed Taniks(the murderer of Andal Brask if I remember correctly),we were able to complete 2 failed raids,and killed some gods Everyday stuff amiright?
