So I don't even have a Year 2 Icebreaker, don't know if I'll ever get one, and there's already someone starting a campaign to cripple it?

Not crippling it just making it closer to the story version of it, and you got to admit given the card and weapon description it does look like the player is risking alot by using the gun as it stands. It also, makes the gun's use more interesting cause people are more likely to use the gun as a sniper than a "360-NO-SCOPE-HEADSHOT-BLAM!!!" weapon of choice like it was in year one Trials. It would also change very little in the PvE save the fact you would actually count your shots, which you should be doing anyway but cause ammo is easy to get noobs never think to check until they're out.

You never will get a year 2 Ice Breaker because it doesn't exist. It's a year one weapon and it's staying at year one levels.

So replace Year 2 with Year 3 and the point is still valid.

Bungie doesn't want to bring that gun back because i made it difficult for them to create boss encounters. They don't want people sitting in the back with infinite ammo sniping away.
