[BUNGIE] Iron Banner Rewards Issues 07/21/2016 - UPDATED
Hello all,
We are aware of an issue in which some Iron Banner matches are not properly granting players their earned rewards.
This includes the following:
• PGCR Rewards
• Iron Banner Reputation
• Iron Medallions
• Iron Banner Bounty Progression
We are also aware of reports where rewards and reputation may be appearing after a small delay, usually when matching into a new match.
We are actively investigating this issue. As more information is available, we will update this thread.
[u][b]UPDATE 7/22/2016:[/b] [/u]We have deployed a fix for this Iron Banner rewards issue. If you encounter the issue again, please let us know by replying to this thread.

Though I know it's not being rewarded this time, I keep expecting to receive a class item with better stats; instead it hasn't dropped for almost four months.

I have played 35 matches of Iron Banner, and I have not gotten an IB weapon in any of those matches. Help?

1 ReplyStill getting crazy small amounts of rep for wins and bounties on all 3 of my characters. Must still be broken because there is no reason I cant have one of my characters at rank 5 by now. I'm getting really tired of playing for hours and not getting what I deserve. Fix this event or don't bring it out anymore. A week of broken nonsense is really sad even for you bungie.

3 RepliesI keep getting ghost 320 from Lord Saladin, my level is 320, i am max Iron Banner, why do i keep getting 320 ghost from level 5 packages? do only thing i dont have at 335 is the freaking ghost...this sucks. Really 320 ghost twice from lord Saladin at lvl 5 iron banner and 334 light level...What gives??

2 RepliesAnother 3+ hours in the iron banner so far today and still no legendary guns as a reward. Plenty of low level blue guns which just get dismantled. I have been playing iron banner for hours each day since Tuesday to get high weapon rewards and have got nothing so far. Something ain't right here bungie!

Post match rewards are still terrible. Almost all blues if anything other than motes or strange coins. Purple drops are near exotic % at this point.

Keep getting kicked mid game in Iron Banner. This is bullshit!! Seems like it has just gotten worst. Trying to get top overall score and when i come back in the game, my score is at 0 pts or I just get kicked completely. This is the most frustrating game ever and not because of gameplay but because of your BS network errors. This is the only thing i have to look forward to and i get let down again and again. FIX THIS!!!!!!!

What about those of us who are done iron banner now and won't get those rewards again. I think that if you completed banner before this was fixed you should reward those player with primary, secondary, gloves and boots 5 points above there light level. Just an idea.

Rewards system definitely still broke. Nothing but blues and IB legendary drops are lower than my light level

Been playing since Tuesday on my hunter, 2 snipers, 1 pulse rifle, 1 chest, 1 boot. Ridiculous. Rank 5 package rewards - 320 ghost 334 arms with shit roll. Why the -blam!- would i want a 320 ghost at 335 with lower stats and light. Worthless infusion. Worthless legendary marks. Not even sure if i want to continue onto my other characters. Iron banner just becomes more and more of a disappointment each month similar to trials each week.

So I've finished ranking up to level 5 on 2 of my 3 characters, been playing since Tuesday and gotten a total of ONE sniper and TWO pulse rifles!!! Only seem to get blue items or nothing at all as rewards. Is it possible for you guys to just fix things so they work as intended?!? I love this game but I'm really starting to loose my patience and interest

Only getting 120 rep for winning which seems really low for being the 5th day. Also wondering why people are getting collectors edition items without having the content. I did not receive anything, but my brother did and we share the same console. For all the problems we have been facing all week, I think everybody should get some kind of gift, not just a few random people. Through all the laggy matches, broken rep and rewards, and error codes, this has been one of the worst iron banner weeks yet.

1 ReplyI'm not usually one to complain because I love this game and I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. "They will fix it...they will get it right...just give them a chance to cull through the data..." --- I live with a glass half full mentality. But now, I'm starting to lose confidence in this franchise. The "fix" you made to give more appropriate rewards seems to net me an abundance of blue weapons and armor with a max light of 290. Albeit I did get a 320 artifact for hitting IB level 3. "um...sweet?" For all of my efforts...I don't feel like I'm making any progress. I'm a solo player except for my brother whom I have played with for 2 years now. We've bought the DLC's and the occasional cheeky dance emote. But I'm feeling a little slighted. I'm about to hit rank 4 in the IB and other than the endless blue trinkets...I've gotten TWO purple pulse rifles with rolls so bad that if it could at least [b]"summon parakeets!"[/b] I would keep it as a novelty. However, they drop at 334 and I immediately get the feeling of a freakin STICK IN MY EYE! Really? you won't even give me a 335 drop so I can toss it towards an upgrade on my third character? You have been sending me endless marketing materials about how I should spend $30 to pre-order a DLC. But the issues that have plagued this once great game have spiraled out of control...how am I supposed to justify pre-ordering the new DLC? Because you promise that the "next" patch will fix everything? I'm sure there's a relationship joke in there somewhere.... At the end of the day...what is the point of us playing Iron Banner or even a basic crucible match if there's no light at the end of the tunnel? (pun intended) I LOVE crucible...but the lag, red bar players and lack of legitimate rewards for a well played match...is just...salt in the wounds. I love the daily grind...but show us a little love every now and then or what is the point of playing?

What's this I'm reading? Some people were getting items at the postmaster because of these issues with IB Friday??? What about the rest of us that suffered through this, are we getting anything as an apology or is it tough crap on us? I don't give a hoot about the players who never went in IB that night, but a lot of us did and, for love of the game, we drudged through the disaster. Being 335 on all characters, I really don't care at this point whether you chose to give me anything, although i wasted a lot of time, some three of coins, and effort, but you can at least give my son (destinylegends1) his rank up in iron banner back for his characters. He was rank 3 on at least one character and was reset to zero. I asked him to check his character after your supposed fix and it was still rank 0. BTW - you still owe my son a hard light primary from year 1 when he decoded an engram and got the hard light drop but never went in his inventory. You basically told him back then, to bad so sad. Its not good to cheat people, particularly kids, out of things they earned/won.

Since the change in heavy ammo drops it's been difficult enough to complete heavy weapon bounties. I normally just carry the bounties from month to month until I eventually complete them. When the frustration level surpasses enjoyment of playing the game I tend to reject or ignore those activities, such as heavy weapon bounties and top of the leader board bounty. I realize it's my problem if I'm not skilled enough to complete, but when you make it impossible to complete by not registering heavy weapon kills towards my bounties, what's the point of even carrying those bounties or offering them to players. Had 4-5 heavy weapon kill today and thought I was going to be able to complete those 2 bounties, but Bungie had different plans.

Almost rank 4 on my hunter... Not a single weapon drop. If I spend that much time playing IB, I should be rewarded with a variety of items. I do not need armor. Here is some advice, for your "special" events, make every IB piece of gear have a HIGHER drop rate than other items. Basically put, everyone who plays IB til rank 5 deserves a weapon and an armor piece before having to buy the vendor roll. Clearly you have purposefully made it difficult to get weapon drops because you want people to grind til rank 5 to buy the vendor version. Players will play the game if it is rewarding, forcing us to play is not the way to keep your player base, playing.

Yh im rank 5 on titan rank 4 on hunter only had 2 nerwins drop not 1 sniper I've never seen it this bad

2 RepliesI never post, but this is one of the worst Iron Banner... Flipping Sniper Shotguns, blue engrams out the arse and the Freaking LAG. If one of you would play this game you may even encounter the same frustration.
