Once you switch your weapons, keep in mind you could be switching your playstyle. Keep the weapon's mechanics and strengths in mind while playing, to avoid putting yourself at a disadvantage. This is especially important if you're having bad results in the beginning, when you're getting used to your new loadout. Figuring the ranges you're gonna be effective at will come with experience--so get the fun stuff! You picked a good time to experiment--most guns are in a good spot. There are some guns that are above the rest; but I've been using different guns than I normally would lately, too, and haven't really felt punished for doing such. It's usually the smarter player who gets the kill, not best one, so figuring out "why" you died is another step in getting better. Have fun and best of luck! Unless it's against me, then I wish your thumbs fall off and get eaten by flying rat piranhas. Just keepin' it real. I like my fries salt-free, the opposite of salty!

  • Not a problem. Sidearms are great secondary choice for No Land Beyond, too. Even if you manage to empty your sidearm, when you respawn you'll have more ammo just for using it. Unless they decided to patch this. It's a good way to avoid having to farm special bricks all the time.
