Vault of Glass and Crotas End armor
Make the old raid armor have infusion and old raid weapons too

They should have old infusion rules on them so you really have to make an investment to be competitive with it in trials, ib, or kf

2 RepliesWhat everyone is forgetting is that some perks on the armor will have to be changed, because some boots and chestpieces have the carry more ammo for special or heavy and we all know bungie hates fun.

1 ReplyArmor definitely. weapons are a whole other category. i wasn't around for when vault of glass or crotas end was relevant, something i really wish was a thing again. if they made the VoG or Crotas end raid armor infusable to year 2 that would be amazing. it would be a nice change to see more people wearing that raid gear. i do like the warlocks Crota's end raid set as well as the titans raid set from the VoG. it would be nice to mix that gear with armor from the taken king. i think some of my current gear would look really nice if i mix it with VoG or Crotas end gear!

I agree halfway. I've gotten a lot of the good Year 1 loot, and now it's trash. If I was to do King's Fall and use the armor, I'd look idiotic. Have you seen the warlock helmet? It looks like a half-unwrapped lollipop. If this happened, the weapons would be a bit overpowered. Considering that the raids would be easier because we're all level 40 and we have tons of items to infuse into stuff, everybody would have all the completely overpowered weapons, and I'd be crushed nonstop by the Mythoclast, just like Year 1. *Sniff* The armor is a different story. Considering that the raid armor could have perks close to the ones that we have now, the infusion could follow the same principle as the Spektar armor. No defense or light, but good looks and perks, so we can infuse and still look [b]FABULOUS[/b]! But, that's just my opinion.

I don't think bringing ALL year 1 weapons and armor back wouldn't be fair for the general public unless they could obtain them. Such as pulses being able to be roll with Reactive Reload. Or Hopscotch Pilgrim. You would need to allow players coming from year 2 or players who have switched consoles to lose their items on a different experience. If you can't allow EVERYONE to be able to achieve the year 1 weapons and armor with specific requirements then it shouldn't happen.

All Legendary and Exotic gear from any year should be able to be brought to the current year. theres no excuse not to. actually let us look the way we want and let us go for what we want and not what the devs want. its just us wasting our time for it to just be thrown out the -blam!-ing window. its why ive just about left destiny because the devs are drastically incompetent and have no clue how to properly run this game.

4 Repliesmaybe not the weapons but the armor wouldn't be a half bad choice. an alternative for weapons would make it so it would be more like specter gear where the stats come form the previous armor where you infused but it would also follow the same with perks.

Agreed. I started playing in year two and have completed vault off glass and Crotas end a few times. Just don't feel the want as the gear has no value. Would also add more variety to the way players characters would look

1 ReplyI'd be cool with the armor. I liked some of those old styles Weapons becomes a can of worms. They obviously don't want the reforgable year 1 stuff back on the board. And would have a hard time justifying making vex and confluence infusible but not the reforgable ones

7 RepliesCall me crazy, but the armor from VoG was sexy as hell. I had a full set for my Titan, but now it's lost in the dark corners of time. Though... I really don't miss having the extra bubbles in the weapon and armor upgrade tree that you could only unlock with legendary upgrade materials. That was tedious as -blam!-.
