Fabian Strategy Rework
So I really want to address this. The gun is unpopular and Arminius-d and doctrine outmatch it for most people. I came up with the following adjustments to appease pve and pvp, but more towards pve. Help spread this around and give me all the feedback you can.
I was thinking
-move magazine up to 65
-allow a select fire instead the auto proc(change rate with x, x/square, square) full magazine required.
-more stability especially with slower selected fire
-ADS for 3 seconds gives a 15% damage resistance and a 10% damage increase for 4 seconds. 3 second cool down when buff ends
-keep life support
Overall great pve tool, and nice buff for pvp, you must wait for the buff(much like waiting for your enemy to make a mistake as the name suggests.) You can aim and shoot right away to get a minor glass half full or wait and get maximum DPS. Time it properly, because if you are too late then you will die by a shotgun or shoulder charge, or anything else faster than you. Die. Repeat as neccessary.

5 RepliesI think they should upgrade the magazine around 54 with extended mag, and have around 40-45 as the base mag. They should also replace lightweight with a stability perk like hand-laid stock or fitted stock. they should also add maybe an option to choose between its base fire rate, or faster fire rate with additional damage (only about 1 or 2 extra damage, so about 17 or 18 to the head.so it isnt too op) in the skill tree menu.

1 ReplyThe damage resistance while ads for Front Line is good, because whats the point of the shield if there is no use of it. Ps: just like Red Death, Plan C and Monte Carlo has a bayonet but no bayonet thrust.

The very minimum to make it usable is a nice mag size increase, front lines range activation increase, and some stability increase. Maybe change up the middle tree a little to have a nice stability option.

Something more likely for the Sandbox team to do at this point: 1) Increase base mag to 50 which is slightly higher than other medium rate of fire Auto Rifles but not the higher mags of the highest RoF archetype. 2) Extend the range that Front Lines perk activates or have it directly related to the Range stat. With multiple barrel options and Rifled Barrel, it would be an easy way for players to fine tune when Front Lines activates without changing the weapons current skill set, which I think is very balanced.

4 Repliesbut that might make it good and we are not allowed to have good year two exotics. Sorry. See that is really something about MIDA that people don't talk about that makes it powerful A large magazine size. You can just spam the trigger even if more are on the way cause you got ammo to spare. Buffing a magazine would mean a lot today with them shrinking them every time new weapons come along. Really though at this point we should likely just forget exotic weapons. The writing is on the wall and it is very similar to what happened with elemental primaries. You can't have fun stuff as someone will cry cause it was used to kill them in the crucible or something then boom all gone.
