Why, as a Titan, the throwing knife should be buffed!
Have a look at that clip! Can you imagine the amount of salt if that guy had been killed by said throwing knife?!?!! I am a Titan main and I approve of this message!

5 RepliesOf all the classes, shouldn't a Hunter have the strongest melee anyways? Just look at the facts. The Titan has a fist bump, a Warlock has a face slap, and a Hunter has an effing serrated knife going into the opponents head! In real life a knife to the face would mean instant death, yet in the game the Hunter is the weakest of the three classes. Does Bungie even think about these things?

Increase the damage when you land a hit over a certain, long distance.

6 RepliesThe solution is simple: return knives to their original damage. Upon selecting the Incendiary perk, apply a 10% penalty to the damage of the knife. If you can impose a penalty for choosing blink or change the damage of Golden Gun by selecting a perk, you can lower knife damage for choosing another. Your system proves that you have the code developed for that type of situation, and this way you literally get it both ways.

6 RepliesI'm Hunter from year one and the reason bungie lowered throwing knife damage is cuz it killed someone in one hit. That can't happen. It's only a insta kill if the shields r down or half down. Even with he incendiary blade. I just want bungie to bring it back to what it was

they need to buff it so it deals less damage on base, but deals more and more damage the farther it is thrown. hunters say it is the only skill based melee, so reward the player for more skill, punish them for lucky spamming.

Incendiary grenades are underrated. Edit: Also SC needs to be reworked. My solution is to increase required sprint distance and reduce the magnetism.

14 RepliesExtremely lucky kills like this shouldn't be used to judge whether or not something needs a buff or nerf. It's like showing a clip of someone getting a cross-map no-scope with a sniper and using it as proof to say that snipers need an accuracy nerf. It doesn't really make any sense.

6 RepliesIt should be able to one shot with the burning perk IF they drastically reduce the magnetism it has. Currently, you can completely miss with it and it'll land a hit. This way you actually have to land your shots and not rely on half ass aim.
