Universal Remote needs to go
I know Sniper ( No land beyond) and a fusion rifle ( Vex Mythoclast) can go into the primary slots. But why in world would you do the same with a shotty ( Universal Remote)? It is basically a year one felwinters, but it's a primary and it never runs out of ammo. No land takes skill and u rarely see ppl use it. Vex mytho takes little skill, but it's not a year 2 weapon. Universal takes no skill what- so -ever, it's a year2 weapon, and it's a shotty for crying out loud! I already know it's going to b a lot of you who will say, " well, if you r getting killed by unimote, then ur trash" or " it's in the game for the reason kid. Get good!" , but in MY opinion, I think bungie should have kept unimote in year1 or didn't bother buffing it in the 1st place. Now then, lets see how many hate messages this post will get. : )

3 RepliesIf Universal Remote is gone so No Land Beyond need to go as well. BTW I don't use that much and I didn't even equip it in Y2 these gimmicky exotic I don't like them at all but more power to ppl who want to use them.

Yea it's exotic, it's supposed to have an advantage, but people can never except that. There's a reason why you can only equip one exotic in your weapon slot. Also just because it's being used alot doesn't mean it needs a nerf or be taken out of the game. Also a full team of universal remotes is SOOO easy to beat just stay about mid range from them because most people use a sniper with universal remote. So if you use like hawksaw or mida and take advantage of your grenades you can wreck their day.

So, you were using NLB and got killed by Uni-Mote. This is because you can't handle a primary version of something that is so common? Party Crasher is worse, but where is the forum about how that is overpowered. Bungie didn't nerf Destiny, people like you did.

You know UR is a yr 1 exotic that was locked behind quest? It was the frist secondary weapon to be in primary weapon slot. So why are you acting like it's some new gun just counter it like any other shotgun.

8 RepliesUniversal remote was so prevalent this trials weekend in fact every team had it, I personally got frustrated and used it myself and I have to say, it does not take much skill. Shoots as far as the other shotty's but much faster, and you can have a sniper equipped. Why use primary's (cuz they suck) when you can have two specials? It's not fun to play against, if bungie wanted less special use bringing this gun back was not the right choice.

Knew this would happen.. This is imo I don't have a problem with the gun and here is the why my playstyle has always been based around my primary weapon I use to be a big fusion rifle guy when pocket infinity was good to go but I am always alert and in close observation of my surroundings, for me I can usually identify if the incoming person is a cc guy or not and if they are I adjust accordingly. With that being said I have gotten smacked a handful of times from that weapon but with the range on fusions and my soild skill with primarys I almost always win the fight 1v1.. But my teammates was screaming this weekend over that gun lol

13 RepliesHave you ever tried using it? It's very fun to use, but just about every medium range weapon will counter it. If you get beat by it consistently then you need to improve your skills instead of coming to the forums and complaining.

2 RepliesVex used to take no skill in its prime all people had to do was point and shoot and you got the kill. Universal remote may need a slight ads range decrease and thays all because if bungie nerfs it, it will become useless

Even though seeing most of u hate mail this post is very amusing, I have to say that it is quite disappointing as well. I bet if I was talking about a sniper getting nerfed, Most if not all of you would agree with me and their would b no hate msg on that post. Also, I thought that me saying, " Now, lets see how many hate msg this post will get" would prevent you guys from actually hate messaging this post so u wouldn't give me what I wanted to happen. : /

Now if you made a post suggting on adjusting the weapon generating ammo and a solution that in your opinion might help with this in crucible.
