"Mexicans are taking our jobs!" What about outsourcing.
Mexicans come to America usually starting in agricultural jobs. The majority of immigrant Mexican men do jobs that most people would never do. Trash pickup, yard work, maintenance, etc.
Yet, every rich conservative right now will swear up and down that Mexicans are stealing our working class jobs. The sheeple believe this for some reason.
Look at the rich conservatives. Look at their businesses. Call their customer service lines, most of them will be outsourced to India. Notice how the majority of clothing from almost all companies are made in China, Taiwan, India, or Mexico. Those are jobs that we desperately need. Production and call center jobs.
Sure, Mexican immigrants come and work a lot of jobs most of us wouldn't, but corporate conservatives have been using the Mexican immigrants as a scapegoat to protect their business. They save money so they'll step on anyone they can to keep saving money.
Corporate America is the true problem with America. Between the outsourcing, Political buyouts, and medial manipulation, they are destroying this country far more than Jose and his family.

If we don't want businesses to outsource labor, maybe we should stop double-dipping with taxes and strangling them with red tape. In essence, all we're doing is beating them up and then bawling our eyes out when they say, "Other countries won't treat me like this." Then we have idiots like Clinton. Rather than making the U.S. easier to run a business in, she just wants to erect severe punishments for companies that leave - so severe that they won't even consider it. Then she and Obama turn right around and whine about how, "Foreign students come here to get educated, but they aren't starting businesses here." No way! You turn the U.S. into a bureaucratic business-vampire, and then you're surprised when people don't want to spend the night in your manor.

1 ReplyIt's not so much doing jobs that citizens don't want. It's working under-the-table. Being paid sub-minimum wage in cash. Citizens and legal migrants either won't or can't do this.

What because their broke ass is too high class for it? BS This is probably proof that with enough money you can make any bs a reality. There is no such thing as a job someone isnt willing to do. I have seen every single race operate in every single job. Now weak anecdotal evidence aside, this phrase comes from corporations choosing to higher ghost workers over Americans that legally have to be paid a minimum wage. why hire an American when I can pay a foreigner less to do the same job? Because of this corporations have literally gotten away with reducing the cost of labour without reducing the demand for employment. All spun under the bullshit guise of Americans being too proud to take those jobs. So you never question why (stereotypical low wage job) always seems to be done by people who can't speak English. If someone is broke and starving they will do any job regardless. Stop feeding into this bs, stop letting corporations screw americans. TLDR OP logic is flawed and stupid.

As a conservative, I have no problem with Mexican immigrants coming to work over here, what I do have a problem with is outsourcing those same jobs to foreign countries. It's hurting our economy while strengthening others.

2 RepliesI'm conservative and this isn't the view that most of us share. If it wasn't for their labor, the prices for basic fruits and vegetables, and other wares would skyrocket. So I have no problem with it.

Assuming people wouldn't do those jobs is foolish. I'm a citizen and I used to pick up dog shît for a living. Money is money I have no problem with immigration. I have no issue with coming here for a better life, I have a issue when you ride the system and don't pay for said life.
