Hey all, was doing some thinking and came up with a neat idea (imo) that could be added to crucible as a feature or a playlist- match game.
It would work kinda like the way shields do in pve and each class would either default to the element of their subclass OR have it tied to artifacts
Basically it could work in 2 ways:
1. It could work EXACTLY like shields in pve where shooting at an arc subclass/artifacted guardian with an arc weapon will reduce shields quickly
OR
2. The increased armour on supers would be applied like a pve shield.
Option 2 has my vote because it could mean that the nerfs to supers could be reverted as it wouldnt require 83 players shooting at a blade dancer to bring him to his knees, just preparation.
Hate dumping a clip into a hammer bro only to get crushed as you reload? Boom equip a solar weapon and bam!
Hate that you can spray a whole mag into a void Walker and they shoot their Nova at you and take no damage and insta kill you? Void weapon baby!!
This would make loadouts require more than just the weapon stats, it would require picking elements to combat what bothers you. More counterplay and less salt.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
