  • To be fair, it's gotten a hell of a lot better. It used to be a joke, now it is just sometimes mildly irritating. I also hate that they added rumble to drafting, to me it's counterintuitive to get resistance when you're in the draft, but not when you aren't.

  • I'm not sure what you are talking about with rumble. You are racing a supercar, there is always rumble. Is there more rumble when you are drafting? In the main post, I was talking about how the new physics make the air move between the car and a wall. It is super technical effect but also really realistic.

  • What I was referring to was that they added a rumble when you draft that gets stronger the closer you are to the lead car. To me it's counterintuitive because most things that cause rumble is a form of resistance. The brakes, the throttle, tire load, etc. Drafting is the lack of air resistance, so why add a rumble? (It was added with the NASCAR expansion) Also my general gripe with aero is with the aerowash leading cars leave. They used to be terrible, where being behind a car made your car undrivable. FM6 is a definite improvement over older installments, I'm just taking the time to moan for the sake of moaning.

  • I think I remember something like that in FM4 (I didn't play much of FM5). I agree it is counterintuitive but it is probably the best way to meter that. It is way harder to feel the lack of rumble but I wish it was that way instead of more rumble.
