Below are facts and nothing else.
Lowest melee range out of any class.
Situational super, but one shots everything.
Can be killed while in animation.
Grenade similar to tripmine. Cannot stick. 2-3 shot.
Titan skating. (Edit. Arguablly done on warlock and hunter, awaiting results. Bones of eao agility builds are faster confirmed.)
Reasonable melee and buff perks. (aftermath included)
Shoulder charge one shot. Takes up a perk slot. Requires charge window, and can be killed easily with a shotgun or teamshot/ team melee. Requires awareness to counter. Good for inferno.
These are facts. Unbiased, as i play all three classes. Make your choice.

BUNGIE FINAL ASSESMENT: NO NERF NEEDED! Now bungie shouldnt nerf them. With over 300 votes, no nerf incoming.

Skating imo is broken Because you can ignore agility and Sacrifice nothing to be the fastest.

I'm mainly playing a striker. I think the close up melee is evened out by shoulder charge. I wish FoH had a greater area of effect but it isn't I needed change. I use my striker as a mobility type play style. My k/d isn't great but I do well in pvp. Pve on the other hand is a bit lackluster. It's better after this june update. I can shoulder charge some yellow bar baddies and one shot them, and FoH is doing better in clearing groups of enemies. Strikers are great right now.

Idk why they buffed them

Fist of havoc needs a fix. It hits things well outside its animation, through walls and round corners which is total b s imo. Also the damage reduction is a bit too high for pvp, you can't kill it without heavy ammo and team fire combined. And screw the lore BTW, it shouldn't work on targets 30 feet in the air. Maybe directly above, but not for the entire diameter of the shockwave. Shoulder charge needs a longer ramp up time and cooldown between uses to stop the far too present spamming of it. Doesn't have to be a huge change but enough that you don't get hit by one inside two feet from stationary or see people just running circles getting kills with it exclusively. Lightning grenades are fine as is, maybe one less pulse when buffed with aftershocks. Just my thoughts after fighting almost nothing but strikers since the patch.

This is from a main Titan. Warlock skating hardly compares to Titan skating. I do think jug could use a nerf. I mean it can tank a sniper shot or a golden gun I just don't like that really. The super while annoying is balanced. The Lightning grenade does have a pretty large radius, which can be annoying, but I don't see any way to nerf them besides a slight radius decrease. Shoulder charge is seriously so annoying and really has always been, but fairly easily countered. If it wasn't a one shot it would be useless. My last point is the melee. While it has low range, the overload does like 160 damage, and can be recharged on hit which is a chance, but still being able to do that much damage on a pretty regular basis is a bit much. I only think the damage should be toned down some, maybe to like 120 or so I don't know.

Warlocks can't skate what they can do is no where near being as good as titan skating

Tripmines shouldnt stick people, but lightning grenades should have a 10 miles blast radius at the base. Totally balanced.

The only MINOR issue with titans in general is titan skating. They shouldnt be faster than hunters. But i dont want this nerfed because that would affect pve where titan skating is actually helpful
-
I think the only thing that needs to change is Titan Skating. How could it possibly be fair that the most armored class is also the fastest? And the Warlock "skate" is nowhere near what the Titans are capable of. I can't believe Bungie hasn't addressed it yet, considering how nerf-happy they are.

The people argueing against changing shoulder charge crack me up. You know it's coming, you're fooling yourself if you think otherwise. Every argument against it also applied to firebolt and combo wombo and both were hit.

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 6/18/2016 9:30:10 PM
can be killed while in animation
I've destroyed my fair share of bubbles, sniped a good few nova bombs out of the sky, even gunned down a few blade dancers, but the ones I drop least are strikers.
-
Shoulder charge is the only unbalanced thinf about the titan right now imo
-
Only thing that should change is shoulder charge one it should take a melee charge just like any other melee two it shouldn't be able to curve around corners or angles upwards while your running on the ground it should go in a straight line
-
For pvp it feels like striker is a mix of the two. It has the neutral game of Defender, and a destructive super that puts it at a pretty close match with Sunbreaker.
-
Shoulder charge is a OHK with unlimited uses. I'm not against it, I feel like I get shoulder charged maybe twice a week at the most rofl but because of its mechanic and ease of use it most likely will recieve a nerf/tweak. I also think lightning grenades need a tweak. It locks down entire areas and does a good amount of burst damage. I'm thinking less damage per pulse but slightly quicker pulses.

There are glaring differences between the effectiveness of certain classes in Destiny, however people are wedded to their favorites and rarely, if ever, are these discussed rationally. I don't like the nerf to Twilight Garrison (and I've never used it) any less than I dislike the nerf to the, unknown to anyone who used it, omnipotent, OHK throwing knife. There is a real danger of Destiny moving ever closer to 'heat death' and really the nerfing-trend does not much else but diminish variety and, dare I say it, fun playing the game. Personally, can't stand Shoulder Charge, Fist of Havoc, Hammers, over shields with shotguns etc. but what I really want is a way to counter them without having the feeling of 'I'll just have a seat here and wait for the respawn.'

Panic super. Their shoulder charge keeps them viable.
-
Perfect the way it is.

The only thing I can't stand is freaking shoulder charge. The only thing is I don't know what a fair adjustment would be. Decrease range? Decrease window of opportunity? Both? Either way it's not up to me.

Edited by Jonyapleseed: 6/18/2016 8:53:26 PMSee I just don't see it quite that way, the titan shoulder charge healing on a kill (using infusion) and it being an endless use ability. I think it using your melee charge makes a lot of sense. If you use the perk where your storm grip kills somebody you get it back I think that would be fair. Then it would use two slots to be truly effective, and I think thats a fair trade for it being a one hit kill. Thoughts? I play as titan so I get it, I just think every class has had to compromise some of it's more powerful abilities. (Trying to be unbiased) Edit one: I want to also say that I dont quite agree with the logic of "its incredibly easy to counter, just use shotgun" it isnt fair that rhe play style of the game need to be tailored a certain way to stop the ability. That being said I dont find it impossible to defeat, just think the compromise for using it needs a little improvement. A decrease in effective range might be good but only a SLIGHT one since they have shortest melee distance
-
Maybe Bungie should just do away with classes altogether and have every guardian looking the same, playing the same and having the same abilities with the same weapons, that would be fun wouldn't it?.....because that's where this game is going with the constant nerfing of this and that. It's getting -blam!-ing pathetic. Shoulder charge has been there since day one and has never been a problem. I get shot-gunned in the face mid charge as much as I get a kill with it. Players have got very good at countering this risky manouver, it's quite tricky to pull off at times as the majority of times you're charging in blind not knowing what's around that corner. It's high risk vs high reward. Deal with it......that said, throwing knives did not need a nerf and neither did trip mines.

Please BUFF lightning grenade. Very useless. http://youtu.be/IwKN_FlfqkI

The only thing that needs to be changed on shoulder charge is the weird elevation change that sometimes happens. I have been running around on striker, and go to shoulder charge someone, and they jump up, and my shoulder charge locks on to them and I magically rise into the air to hit them.
