Below are facts and nothing else. Lowest melee range out of any class. Situational super, but one shots everything. Can be killed while in animation. Grenade similar to tripmine. Cannot stick. 2-3 shot. Titan skating. (Edit. Arguablly done on warlock and hunter, awaiting results. Bones of eao agility builds are faster confirmed.) Reasonable melee and buff perks. (aftermath included) Shoulder charge one shot. Takes up a perk slot. Requires charge window, and can be killed easily with a shotgun or teamshot/ team melee. Requires awareness to counter. Good for inferno. These are facts. Unbiased, as i play all three classes. Make your choice. 150+ replies And 200+ votes. 250+ replies and unknown votes. Damn... 300+ replies. Lets see it reach max light! Over the light cap! 400+ replies :) Got over 600 while i was sleeping. Lets make bungie see this. 800+. Damn, only 10x less than 8000! 1000 posts !!! BUNGIE FINAL ASSESMENT: NO NERF NEEDED! Now bungie shouldnt nerf them. With over 300 votes, no nerf incoming.

  • It's in a good place currently, but it will get nerfed. People are asshurt about the latest patch and want to see Titans punished for it. Sooner or later, it will face the wrath of Bungie's nerf bat. Juggernaut, is the only thing questionable about the subclass imo.

    • I think its more map design. Most maps are CQC and hey, strikers are perfect in that scenario. I dont think strikers are the problem exactly but more over the best choice as a majority of maps are close range encounters. Coming from a titan only player anyway

        • Is increase the AoE of FoH and take away that knock back it does in PvE. As for PvP, I don't know. People can't jump out of my FoH, but I can never jump out of theirs.

            I've been on vacation since before the update, why is there suddenly so much hate for the Striker? I haven't been home to test it out. The only thing that got changed to the striker was the FOH now does more damage.

            • I voted Strikers being OP but not top tier. Just because Titan's in general are -blam!-ing horrifying if you have a very skilled player behind the controller. I don't think they need a nerf at all. I actually admire anyone who can do amazing as a titan since 90% of the skill is being amazing with your movement and combining things together like the new tech called shoulder blinking. I managed to do that myself a few times in patrol. it's fairly difficult. and anyone can titan skate to move in a straight line. But god players can use it to bounce off of the map and do insane speeds. As for your facts: ~titan's might have the lowest melee distance but after the titan changes and their melee got buff it's really not that far behind a warlock. It's not trash tier like it used to be. ~Wouldn't call it situational. And if it is then all supers are. The main benefit in my mind for the striker super is and always has been the ability to tank nearly anything and get that 100% promised kill. Plus death from above has some good applications if you know how to use it. ~Any super can be killed mid animation. It's much more difficult to kill a striker mid animation. ~Lightning nade is still one of the best nades in the game. Especially of late. It not being able to kill instantly isn't really a downside since that's not even it's purpose. ~Hunters have better control+ bones of EAO. it's not as fast as titan skating but it's still much faster compared to just sprinting even with max agility. and it can be used to juke people. Warlocks skating is meh at best. ~Not sure if you are referring to the buffs they got or asking for more. I think the melee's on a titan are fine at the moment. ~Having to choose a perk for shoulder charge really isn't a downside when the other options you can choose are just as situational if not more. And the applications SC has makes it even more worth picking. I don't nor have I ever thought SC needed a nerf. But people severely underestimate the ability.

              • I've made this suggestion in another thread, but here I go again - In reference to Shoulder Charge being OP. It isn't. But, it can be incredibly frustrating to play against a Titan who is constantly using it in a match. Especially if few teammates are running shotgun since the new special ammo economy. I suggest [b]removing its ability to be used after a slide (again) and while skating in the air[/b]. Change Paragrine Greaves to add back in the ability to use it in air for its Y3 reincarnation. So, no dodging before charge and have to give up skating speed to use it (unless you use your exotic slot on a thoroughly underwhelming exotic).

                • The only thing I would change is the target tracking on shoulder charge. It's a little too high, but it's not a huge thing.

                    • The only 2 things I'd change is how you can just shoulder charge without knowing where the enemy is and get a kill. The lighting grenade radius is also kinda broken.

                                        • I mean, what can I say? I just really hate when I get in a gunfight, the striker sees they're about to lose, and BAM. I didn't say nerf, I said rework. I'm not sure what they could do, but I wish they would at least give it some thought.

                                            • I would say a good titan player would never shoulder charge someone head on if they can help it. They usually charge someone from the side or behind, simply because the window of opportunity is bigger when the opponent can't see you and therefore won't react fast enough. A head-on charge will usually get you killed like many players have already mentioned.
