The official striker poll. (No salt)
Below are facts and nothing else.
Lowest melee range out of any class.
Situational super, but one shots everything.
Can be killed while in animation.
Grenade similar to tripmine. Cannot stick. 2-3 shot.
Titan skating. (Edit. Arguablly done on warlock and hunter, awaiting results. Bones of eao agility builds are faster confirmed.)
Reasonable melee and buff perks. (aftermath included)
Shoulder charge one shot. Takes up a perk slot. Requires charge window, and can be killed easily with a shotgun or teamshot/ team melee. Requires awareness to counter. Good for inferno.
These are facts. Unbiased, as i play all three classes. Make your choice.

4 RepliesThe funny thing is, the more people making post about striker titans the more attention they will receive and possibly Bungie will do something about it. Striker Titans are fine. In my opinion, not OP. People want the classes to be balanced to the point where the classes are the same with barely any difference. Whats the point of being a Titan if it feels no different from a Warlock. All these nerfs are headed that way. Each class should have some type of advantage over the other classes. Something that makes them unique. But people crying nerf will never let that happen.

Melee is not the shortest. Hunter melee is. Did he just compare Titan skate and warlock bunny hopping? Tripmines don't do instant damage and continuously deal damage

1 ReplyTitan skating has its down falls... while Titan skating you have a massive disadvantage with stopping yourself unless you have a garrison on. You have so much momentum built up, you find yourself flying into walls constantly. It's not easy to control.

Striker is solid, that's the best word for it. If you suck, then you will suck with striker. If you're good then you will be good with striker. The class, IMO, is entirely based on skill. -

Ive known about since about a week before TDB dropped and I can without a doubt say its faster than bones. Btw why would anyone want skating nerfed. Honestly to me its the only reason the Titan is a fun class to even play. If not I would probably play warlock because they have such amazing abilities.

I will always be salty from being hit mid blink by shoulder charge. Do they need a nerf? No sir. Maybe some changes to shoulder charge to make it more of a charge rather than a free boost and/or melee attack. Retain power but reduce mobility so you can't do a full 360° on the spot and shoulder charge someone behind you. Everything else seems to be pretty balanced about them.

Shoulder charge is frustrating but not OP. You have to be running and all you have to do is back pedal if a titan is running towards you and they'll miss

Only thing that made me a little bit salty... main a titan tho, i got fist of havoced from the room next to me... range is good as it is but damage trough walls is kinda annoying

The only thing that stands about strikers is, to me, lightning grenade. Hate thise things, hahahah. IMO, no nerf needed.

6 RepliesYou cant say any class is OP, maybe one of their PERKS or abilities.....but that does not make a class OP, lets put it this way...Take the Sunsinger Vs Striker. Melee, I would give this to Striker...that punch is a killer...and they have SC to boot. Grenades, with the nerf to Warlocks the striker wins this one easy, the lighting grenade now out performs the firebolt, Supers ...easy, Warlock doesn't have one...well ok, they can super up and throw 7 grenades that are out performed by the striker, the Strikers Super can take out an entire opposing team in 1 hit.....ok, maybe Strikers are a little OP when compared to Sunsingers.......but not when compared to other classes.

They are in the middle ground. We are just spiralling into an ever increasing nerf cycle. Bungie needs to consider bringing other classes and weapons up at this point as it feels like players are just getting weaker and weaker in destiny.

Are people really wanting to nerf striker? Strikers can't spam grenades, they don't have ridiculous melee range, and their supers are pretty limited in range. What can people be crying about?
