I don't know about the rest of you but I hate going into a game and seeing an exact replica of me, so I came up with an idea to implement Custom Shaders and Custom Class Items that also increase things to do in Destiny via challenges. Custom Shaders Idea This would be unlocked once you pass a certain point...that I have yet to determine. You would start out with a basic set of colors (yellow, blue, red...etc.). You will be able to unlock more by doing certain things for example, killing 100 fallen for how of wolves get you dark blue. To get more rare colors you'd have to do harder challenges such as getting 500 headshots in the Crucible will get you the color Crimson. You would be able to choose what part of your gear a certain color effects. So if you want your class item to be effected by a certain color then you'd be able to have it be effected by that color. Cutsom Class Items This would allow guardians to be able to make their own Class items. You be able to choose the color of the class item, the length, and the designs that are on it. You start with a couple symbols (Basic shapes and things like that) and you will be able to earn symbols to put on your class items, by doing challenges and generally playing the game. For example if you want to put on a House of Devils symbol of your class item then you need to finish kill a certain number of fallen Captains for the House of Devils. To get more rare symbols then you have to do harder challenges for example to get the Raid Symbol then you need to complete 10 Raids flawlessly on hard mode. To get symbols of the classes and subclasses you will have to reach max level (not light level) and master the subclasses (you unlock the symbols for each subclass when you unlock all the perks). You will also have the option to not wear class items. How this would work for Hunters and Titans: You start out by choosing the length of the Mark/cloak (Short, Medium, or Long). You then choose the base color of the class item (The main color). Finally you will be able to put symbols on your class items and choose the colors for each. I think Titans should be able to chose to have a Mark on either side because of the size of their class item. Each will be able to be customized. How this would work for Warlocks: This would work a bit differently for Warlock because Hunter and Titan class items are cloth-based whereas Warlock bonds are not. You will be able to choose the size of the Bonds hologram/visual effect. You be able to use the symbols you unlock as holograms the bond projects. You can also have the color be effect by elements for example, you could have a House of Wolves symbols being projected by Arc light. You would be able to have a Bond on both sides and each can be customized. So what do you think?

 • Like it, although for custom shaders i have 1 change: you would combine shaders you already have to create a new one. You would have a list of colors and patterns from already unlocked shaders and pay a bit to combine them. You can choose the name, but the description would say what shaders you combined.
