Last Friday I went to my band rehearsal, I had to walk there because there's an environmental contingency (-blam!- Mexico city and -blam!- me for living near), when the rehearsal was over I started walking to my house and when I was passing by a elementary school I saw two kids wearing school uniform sitting on the sidewalk, it was about 8:00 pm so I thought it was a little weird. When I was close enough I recognized one of the boys, he was the brother of an ex girlfriend I had about 5 years ago. I approached him and asked wtf they were doing on the sidewalk by themselves when it was almost dark and he said they were waiting for their sister, she was supposed to pick them up two hours before that. I asked where their mother was and he told me she had left with a man and they were living with their sister (she's 25 just like me). This got me a little worried because I know for a fact she's a junkie so I offered to walk them to their home. On our way there the little one said he was hungry, they hadn't eaten anything the whole day, so I offered to cook something for them seeing as their sister was nowhere to be found. Once we got to their house I looked for some food but I couldn't find anything. They didn't even had a fridge. So I went to the store and bought some groceries, bread, eggs, milk, a couple of snacks and some mac & cheese bullshit. Then I cooked the mac & cheese, asked if they were going to be fine and left. Later that night I was at the bar getting wasted when I saw her sister walking towards me in order to slap the shit out of my face. Then she said she was going to fill charges for trespassing and endangering her brothers. It was the last time I do something for her or her family, I got into a fistfight with her dad once because I was protecting her mother when he tried to beat her, I got in troubles with the police one day because of her older brother and about two years ago I let her stay in my house a couple of days because she had no where to go, we ended up having sex and she left in the morning, without saying anything and she took like $25 I had in my night stand and my -blam!-ing toothpaste.
