You do realize that farming glimmer from patrol missions is faaarrr quicker than farming glimmer from enemies ever was. And there is no cap on patrol glimmer.
Also, glimmer isn't a useful commodity any more. So who really cares.

Well if your not 335 on all characters, you need it for damn near every upgrade on weapons and armor, plus buying ammo refills, I haven't capped 10k in a loooooong time, I really don't want to have to use my Royal Amethyst for glimmer.
