My longbow has armor piercing rounds on it. I couldn't even shoot someone through the GLASS by the C (I think) control point on asylum. I knew it had been nerfed but I didn't realize it was to complete uselessness. What does it actually do now?

1 ReplyI got a collateral with universal remote somehow last night. Might have been lag tho

I'm just wondering if you can still use AP rounds to shoot through wall glitches. As in if you get outside the map you used to be able to use them to shoot enemies through walls, like the old sepiks prime cheese spot.

They pierce armor....duh

1 ReplyIt shoots through enemies. On a sniper, it makes it possible to get a collateral through the body. Final Round Spear + AP rounds back in HoW was amazing #TitanMasterRace

2 RepliesSo you expected to shoot through a wall.

1 Reply[Warning - Sh*tty English skills below] I've seen plenty of clips where people get multiple kills with one sniper bullet without AP rounds. I've got a few doubles like that myself too. These collaterals always happens in similar situations. At least one of the enemies is moving. I believe that collaterals without AP rounds are only possible because of lag. For example, you shoot an enemy standing still with your sniper in the head, but when you hit the trigger, another enemy is moving in the line of fire. You hit the guy you were aiming at with a headshot, but the other guy moving in front dies as well even though his head wasn't on the reticle, because in his perspective, he got shot in the head too, but for you it didn't look like that because of lag. There are other games with similar netcoding that makes it possible to get multiple kills with one shot even though it's not possible in offline multiplayer. Online multiplayer only.

5 RepliesEdited by DestinyRise: 5/10/2016 8:12:53 PMWhat I notice with AP rounds is that it hits targets very hard and leaves a target with small health doing a body shot. It used to go through walls back in the day but not anymore

Passes through players, that's about it

2 RepliesThin walls and objects can still be penetrated.

5 RepliesEdited by Satanic Mechanic: 5/10/2016 7:45:24 PMHits things behind your 1st target... Ap rounds are how people get trip snipes... Used to go though walls...not anymore tho...

8 RepliesOver penetrate targets. I'm going out on a lim and I'm going to say that a regular sniper can over penetrate through heads but w/ APR you might be able to go through 3 people. And in some spots the glass ok asylum has 2 layers you can only penetrate one 1 when you can see the target (I think). I can get my trusty vendor LDR from DB and test it if you want?
