How do I get the "No Time To Explain"?
I am excited to unlock this weapon, if possible. I love "The Stranger's Rifle" but unfortunately it can't be infused, so I couldn't use it but now I have found out about this gun so yeah.
Naturally, I looked up guides on YouTube, but the YouTuber I am watching emphasises "Daily Heroic" when mentioning the "Paradox" mission. So, where I am confused is, is it still possible to unlock the gun through selecting it via the navigation menu, or is it only possible as a "daily heroic" mission?
Also, is there only a chance that the gun will drop or is it a definite?

32 RepliesEdited by AscendantPotato: 5/10/2016 1:56:57 AMYou have to wait until Paradox is the daily heroic and collect the hidden ghosts along the alternative paths, as well as the end. Then there is a small series of steps that can be completed solo without too much difficulty and aren't time-gated so you can finish the quest at your leisure. But to trigger it you [b][u]have[/u][/b] to wait until Paradox comes up as the daily again. And yes, it is a guaranteed reward for finishing the quest. Hope that helps! Edit: I totally spaced, and I'm glad someone mentioned it, but you will need to do the vault of glass raid to get a special item from killing atheon, so you will need a team for that.

7 RepliesCouple things about the "NTTE." Paradox is only the daily on the 7th of every month. You have to do it on that day, and collect the ghosts without dying. Go through, make sure you have a phone or tablet open to a tutorial on YouTube. Easy to get lost. Kill the hydra. Kill the gate lord. Beat VoG on any difficulty. Get ranked up on FWC to at least 1 or 2. I believe it's 1500 rep. Any kind of motes, planetary materials, etc. Turn in every to FWC. Wait til reset day: Slap a midget. Find a group of balloons and give them to underprivileged kids. Go into the crucible and dance for 33 seconds without getting killed. Timer starts after 5 seconds. Don't do this in Rumble. Use the "yes" emote on Amanda Holliday (this starts the 2nd phase) and also unlocks the Red Bull sparrow quest. Go back to the Vault of Glass. Kill a gorgon. Go to orbit, back to the tower. Go to the speaker for your new "No Time To Explain!"

I got mine about a month ago and selected "Paradox" from story missions. I didn't wait for daily heroic to pop up. I didn't know there was an exotic weapon quest when I started, I was just trying to collect all the ghost/grimiore cards. The tricky part is no one on fireteam can die until after Hydra. We couldn't do it as a team without dying so I solo'd until I got to the secret portal then had someone join to help with secret boss.

Edited by The_Failbob: 5/10/2016 1:58:39 PMYou can glitch to get the cult ghost on paradox but it's really hard so I'd recommend just waiting to get it on the daily. There are guides out there on YouTube and you will need two other friends if you want to glitch. Once you get that the quest will come up and when you complete it it is a guaranteed drop. It's a great gun, I used it for my first flawless.

20 RepliesWhen "Paradox" is the daily, you have find 3 memory fragments "ghost" with out dying and you have to beat the end hydra (found that out the hard way). Then instead of finishing the mision you exit the gorgon maze like you would in VoG and find the third and final fragment. At that point a vex portal will open and you'll have to puzzle jump to it ( its ok if you die at this point so no worries) once through the portal you have a taken minotaur to beat ( once agian no worries about dying) and a door will open with a chest containing the "Cult" ghost. Turn that in to FWC and wait. When you get a summons to FWC and receive the quest for donations, you simply have to lvl rank using what ever you got ( i prefer MoL). Then you have to kill a taken minotaur on Venus. Then beat VoG ( normal or hard mode ). This is the point im at right now. After that, you go to a crucible map and locate a chest ( bottom of the elevator shaft close to where heavy drops on "A". Go back to FWC and get your gun, i think. I did it on my other account when TTK came out but dont remember.
