I think Destiny might actually be the best Shooter I have played (On Console) *Begins Drumroll for Non-Sunbro's* Here's why: It's Bungie. (Mostly) 2nd Best Shooter I ever played? Halo Also: Bungie Now remember everyone, this is my opinion. (Something I should feel comfortable sharing regardless of the outcome) ●The Communty First and foremost if you play any game with an open mind and look to help others succeed, you may find that Destiny has very much to offer to the right kind of Guardians. Remember Rated T means you should be expecting many complaints and rants as it requires a younger age to play. In my experience I've made many friends and clan mates just from Destiny alone. It always gives me the fuzzies inside when we finish a raid or take a trip to the lighthouse because I get to hear the reaction of everyone else and share that very moment with them (Through Emotes or Destroying My Ear Drums) Huge problem nowadays is we have too many Hammer Slammers and not enough Defenders, the last thing we need to be doing is blaming others for gear that they have not yet acquired based off of RNG. People live different lives and don't have as much time as others, so why not help them? Sometimes Judging others opens the eyes to understand why they are being blamed, but most of the time people just feel bad... That is the primary problem on these forums as well. Along the way I have met many successful people, couple bad eggs of course but that's usually from a personal problem... or just a Monday without KOFFEE!!! :D ●The Gamble Now RNG can be good or bad, it depends how much time you invest since you are practically rolling the dice for loot. (Glimmer Dice, Sweet Idea) I see this as a good thing [b]for me at least[/b] because it fulfills my passion for grinding, also its more exciting to know that you rolled the loot you wanted rather than already expecting set rewards. ●The Online Experience I do like that connecting with others is almost instant, party chats are pretty solid too (at least for PS4) Error Codes are a little more frequent for Xbone, but to be fair Microsoft catered to other crowds besides just gamers this time around. (Can't expect it to be as good as 360 sadly) Crucible is actually very accurate, sometimes ill go back and watch recordings and witness the Crosshairs barely missing the target (It happens to everyone it's okay) Vanguard Strikes and Court of Oryx are great for farming and socialising with new blueberries. The Raids have always brought the best moments. (And worst lol) I can already hear the cheerful voices.. "FATE BRINGER BABY!!" "AWWWW I GOT THE MYTHOCLAST!!!" "I GOT THE KITTEN FACE HELMET" "I GOT NECHROCASM!!" Also the Not-So Cheerful voices "NO F****** HEAVY FROM WARPRIEST??" "THE SISTERS GAVE ME SHARDS..LOL" "SHARDS FROM ORYX TOO?!?! *Logs Out* ●Companies/Micro - transactions -The Silver Currency idea that was introduced, I was 100% Happy for it. Why? -Because many people don't realize that companies usually sell off a title and may or may not even think about further additions. Greedy companies will make a game, take the sales money and run. Micro transactions is a way of showing that they wish to continue keeping Destiny alive and are usually just cosmetic, it adds more variety and game play value in the end anyway. (Fashion Souls) -Activision may be known for being very Greedy and probably impacted Destiny in a negative way at first with the pay wall ideas. But.... ummm... I'll think of a way to defend them later lol -Also if you don't like it, then don't buy it. I can guarantee Bungie is framing every insult on the wall while they gather around to have a good laugh. ●Conclusion -I understand that many didn't like Destiny at first because of the lack of content (Which again many don't understand why it happened) But for the rest of the team to go ahead and scrap up the pieces and put it out like this... Good Job y'all. -Destiny 2 is most likely going to be amazing and hopefully makes an impact on others as well. (Just like Halo 2 did) -No other game on console has given me a Love/Hate Relationship like this. (For PC Path of Exile takes that cake) (Hardcore RIP LOL) -Destiny made history in my book, I'm looking forward to the entire franchise and will be supporting all the way (Just my 2 Glimmer) So Guardians, how has y'alls experience been?
