Now it's 'Nerf Strikers!'
Just for the love of God, just stop with the constant pissing and moaning. Strikers were [i]SEVERELY[/i] underpowered in year one, and now that every other super has been nerfed all the way the goddamn gallows, you're now turning your eyes to a super that doesn't need a nerf at all. The most it needs is for shoulder charge to be looked at, at best. At worst it needs to be to be tweaked so that it has a tiny bit more of a cool down. That is it.
Rant over.
Edit:: over 90 comments and we're trending. Maybe somebody will take something out of this. Probably not though.
Edit 2::: just to clarify, the reason why I'm writing this is because I've seen about 10 striker nerf posts in the past 2 days. So you don't have to ask 'why is he writing this?'

It's always been a common occurrence, but in year 2 some guardians have completely abandoned adaptive play and demanded nerfs whenever they get beat consistently by a weapon, class, or ability. They rock the same load outs every match, every map, every time. Maybe change a primary or heavy as the situation warrants, but no real adaptive play. Try changing your weapon, try a different style of play, change your subclass to complete, rather than complain. Best some guardians do is leave maps they don;t like or matches they are losing. I see a Titan going full bore at me while being shot at, I back away and double jump that sucker. Switch to a shotgun or sidearm and finish them off. Some Titans have mastered the shoulder charge and they can do it mid air, round corners, and with almost no sprint at all. Good for them. I won't demand a total nerf on their account. Nerfs are when there is no counter balance to an ability. Not every time you get whipped. Play on Guardians, play on.

1 ReplySupers are supposed to be overpowered. Buff the other classes so that they can compete with Striker. Leave the classes as they are. And as a Titan main, I am biased, but leave Titans the -blam!- alone.

17 RepliesThe juggernaut shield is completely broken. There is absolutely no reason it should survive a golden gun shot or a headshot from a high impact sniper. The amount of damage resistance gained from Unstoppable needs to be tuned down just enough so that a smash can't counter a direct hit with a Nova bomb. Yesterday I was on my Voidwalker and I blink backwards to Nova a rushing Titan. I hit him directly with Nova, and he has over half health and I'm dead.

Considering they make adjustments based on the data they receive, and titans are still on the bottom, I think this will be one of the cases where the nerf herders and the game adjustments will not align.

Hate it. Titans were the most under used class, now we get some shine and people want to ruin it. Striker isn't Op at all, neither is shoulder charge, Juggernaut, the name says it all, juggernaut, I mean what do you guys expect it to be? A weak shield? Shoulder charge is nothing, If you charge in a stupid manner you die, if you time it you kill the other person, now peregrine greaves kill almost everything. FoH overall is fine, unstoppable, I mean, wow, ive seen people saying, Its Op. The Name says it all. Titans are suppose to be the big guys, hard to kill. I mean wow.

Shoulder Charge isn't even over powered. Just gotta play smart about a Titan running at you, don't just stand there, keep backing up and shooting at the same time, Hand Cannons are very ideal for shooting in air while backing up btw. Or any gun with Icarus.

I've not seen one post to nerf strikers...but at the same time, it doesn't surprise me if there are posts. People on here beg for nerfs.

I main Hunter and personally think Striker needs a small buff with the shoulder charge hit detection. There's been times I should have died and didnt, I felt bad, they closed the gap and deserved the kill. I'm all for the Titan class

People want to nerf strikers? That's so dumb. Plus ever dice the April update I've noticed the targeting of shoulder charge seems to be off, I've been missing hits that normally wouldn't. Plus, if they need striker then what will I be able to use for pvp? Cause none of the others have enough chutzpah. Especially after what happened to sunbreakers

The next part isn't direct at you OP, but the community as a whole. First of all, if you don't play all three classes you shouldn't have an opinion on balancing. Second, if you say "Fist of Panic" instead of Fist of Havoc: you're only making yourself look childish. And third, haven't Titans been nerfed enough? First Sunbreaker, now you target Striker? Are you then going to cry nerf for defender?! Striker doesn't need nerfed. Fist of Havoc doesn't need nerfed and Shoulder Charge doesn't need nerfed. If only this community would stop complaining about class balancing and instead look at the real problem. Destiny PvP can [u]NEVER[/u] be balanced because [i]Bungie[/i] refuses to separate PvE from PvP. It's both a blessing and a curse to this game. 3 RepliesWarlock Sunsingers are currently the most OP subclass. Strikers have been underpowered for over a year and he only buff was a slight buff. No nerf should ever be discussed for this subclass. The fact Sunsingers weren't touched in some way was a fail in itself

I'm with OP if I can get shut down mid super activation with unstoppable on, there is absolutely no need for any kind of nerf for the striker subclass. You cry baby ass -blam!-s need to quit already. 1 ReplyHonestly titans do need a buff, especially on their melee registration. But the damage on there charged ability melee for the striker class does need a Nerf since it hits like a sniper shot to the body.

Im fine with titans but that abusive jetpack thing is really annoying. They can get there shoulder charge way to often. Thats -blam!-in annoying.

2 RepliesHey man, I'm going to let you in on this; Bungie doesn't base their nerfs/buffs/balance changes on the comments on the forums, they've already admitted that. It's based purely by overall statistics, and since Strikers have and still are one of the least played Subclasses, I wouldn't put money it ever being nerfed.
