Now it's 'Nerf Strikers!'
Just for the love of God, just stop with the constant pissing and moaning. Strikers were [i]SEVERELY[/i] underpowered in year one, and now that every other super has been nerfed all the way the goddamn gallows, you're now turning your eyes to a super that doesn't need a nerf at all. The most it needs is for shoulder charge to be looked at, at best. At worst it needs to be to be tweaked so that it has a tiny bit more of a cool down. That is it.
Rant over.
Edit:: over 90 comments and we're trending. Maybe somebody will take something out of this. Probably not though.
Edit 2::: just to clarify, the reason why I'm writing this is because I've seen about 10 striker nerf posts in the past 2 days. So you don't have to ask 'why is he writing this?'

3 RepliesSorry about your father hope all is well, I use striker in all pvp, defender pve. I will say the only thing that needs to be looked at is the shoulder charge I've been mid shoulder charge and out of no where I get flanked by a shoulder charge lol. As the fist of havoc I think it's fine plus the eternal warrior is badass. I was attacking B in control on Bannerfall and I see another titan skating up to use his FoH and as soon as he used it I popped mine as well we landed on eachother I lived he died my only guess was because of the eternal warrior. [spoiler]correct me if I'm wrong but does the eternal warrior have increased armor when using FoH?[/spoiler]

2 RepliesSorry for what happened to your dad. Hope you are coping well and I wish him speedy recovery. On titan shoulder charge issue I personally don't think it needs any nerf, as their T-rex arm is already short compared to space magic that can wreck people 1000 yards away ( pardon the pun ) and not putting themselves in a high risk area where others can take them down easily.

2 RepliesHope your father is doing well. I get really tired of seeing nerf posts, all they end up doing is wrecking the PVE side of the game. I get Bungie has to balance the PVP side of the game and it can sometimes be a tough one. Either Bungie separates the two areas, or people just get better in PVP. I suck in PVP, but I don't complain about how I get killed. It's the elitist PVP players that seem to complain. I see it all the time watching streamers. It's a joke, they should have taken spawning in with special with sidearms and Ice breaker away and left the no special until when it spawned in. No, instead let's put the ammo back at the start, nerf how much u can carry, in turn screws up PVE drops, because I don't see any buff in drops. They even admit there is a problem and a hotfix is coming soon. Had you not messed with in the first place. Sorry that was my rant, I normally don't get fumed in this game, but the last PVP changes ticked me off.

Back to base year 1 it seems where everyone is complaining about AR's and Strikers. Man it would kill some of these players to just get good instead of bitching every time they get killed by something. It would also kill them to not be hypocrites, but eh everyone just takes on the motto of "Whatever I use requires skill and should never be touched, but whatever everyone else is using is cheap, and should be nerfed."

2 RepliesThe people that complain about shoulder charge are people that are bad at pvp. Sorry to say it, but it's true. Shoulder charge punishes people that are caught unaware, who don't know how to back pedal while firing, or dodge in some other fashion (blink, shadow step, ect...) Not to mention shot guns are a direct hard counter. I have never once lost a shoulder charge vs shotgun fight. Shoulder charge is fine, Fist of Havoc is fine, Lightning grenades are strong but not op. Leave the subclass alone.

1 ReplyThere's no way to please everybody when it comes to the subclasses. That's just the way it'll always be. People complaining about this class needing to be nerfed and that class but it's always the titan and warlock but no one ever complains when they get killed by a shadowshot. Did you know a shadowshot is a glitch in the game? It's not suppose to kill guardians. When the bow actually kills a guardian it's suppose to be called a pinpoint shot and it was meant to be super rare. The hunters void class was suppose to be pure support but what do I know it's all about nerfing the titan. You know there are real problems other than supers being too "op" what my husband and I would give just to be able to even play the game again. No one appreciates how much Bungie actually does for them all they do is complain about what they fix even though they're doing exactly what everyone's been asking of them. I'll always support Bungie there will always be ups and downs not everyone will be happy but there will always be supportive fans just ignore the hate posts. I got over it awhile ago. Enjoy the game! My husband and I only got to play two or three days before we went homeless. Have fun that's what the game is meant for, not arguing about supers.

Seriously the call for subclasses to be nerfed needs to be shut down, in my own opinion, strikers and voidwalkers are probably 2 of the most balanced, sure I hate being shoulder-charged, but most of the time it's down to lag showing me being around the corner when I get killed, titans have arguably the worst melee of all classes (t-rex) (and I main a warlock 90% of time)
