Old news but the BEST tip. Voidwalker, Scatter Grenades, Nothing Manacles. I completed the COE using Genades and Heavy Machine gun. GOOD FUN!

But if you're a hunter scrub like me then Throwing Knives are a good alternative.

I tried that with my first run of CoE this week, but found that my scatter grenades were not enough to kill the Taken on the last round? I switched to sunsinger and use that Viking thing and the grenades just melt the enemies. I will say I did not try void with the nothign manacls, maybe that will help? I can't imagine it will fully kill the enemies, but maybe just the fact that I will have more grenades will help? Thanks!

With nothing manacles you can one shot every enemy that doesn't have a shield. Just have to throw the scatter grenade at the feet of the enemy
