From someone that used to use the hunter, quickdraw is the only good perk the hunter has, and people that exploit special weapons don't switch off of special, quickdraw is the only thing that makes the bd good in pvp. Switching weapons slower won't make someone bad. The invisibility sucks on the bd in general and shouldn't be used in pvp bc highly skilled players don't fall for it. And can easily see it. I hear the audio que and i get hyped bc I'm going to pop an arrogant hunters had off as soon as his cloaked butt comes around the corner Edit: also the bd is not obsolete, a highly skilled player/team will get 3 kills out of it every time. I do agree that the hunters agility needs to be tweaked majorly bc they are the SLOWEST class PERIOD. Why is the supposed "most mobile class" the slowest?

I had some things to think about. Special weapon primary users do switch off of it. Usually it's snipers who rely on that perk ability. If you happen to finally flank, due to the always on radar they have plenty of time to switch (usually to TLW) and you lost any advantage you should have had. If you are going to snipe there should be some kind of commitment. If you are swapping weapons at sidearm level speed what's the point of side arms. I've said it before gun perks should stay on the individual gun, not the class. Making one class being able to wield weapons better than other classes makes inherent imbalances in potential. Invisibility, much more useful in 6v6 due to the cues you mentioned. 3v3 has a lot less noise so you can key in all the different sounds. I was actually talking about audio ques with someone else. Perhaps they should do something about that. Arc blade is obsolete. If you can get 3 kills with the super that's great. Probably a testament to your individual skill but you probably could have done the same thing with a sword. It is even more obsolete in pve. If you are using it for the revives, night stalker can do it better. If you are using it for add control...that's just silly. Now, if you were to remain invisible AND attack you could take out adds and only have to worry about splash damage and explosive enemies. Last point. Yea, we are in complete agreement on a movement boost. I can't believe fleet footed and keen scout doesn't provide a larger increase.

    If you watch skilled players use their supers, they use them as flanking maneuvers rather than just rush in with a super, the bd of you blade back and forth while approaching it makes it very difficult to hit and before they realize their dead. But i guess I'm mainly talking about 3v3 bc that's my cup o' tea, while the bd closes in one way the other 2 members should be flanking from the other and pinch to an easy w! Honestly though I do think a lot of subclasses need to be reworked to have more neutral perks so people can run different load outs. I doubt it'll happen now but can always hope in d2!

    Yea and the person that can flank with arc blade is also the same person that would kill a team with a sword. My fixes weren't just for PvP though. I don't care how highly skilled you are, arc blade is hot garbage for pve. Now that night stalker can turn invisible and do add control arc blade is useless.

    Yeah i agree, arc blade and gunslinger are useless subclasses in pve, the sword thing in pvp "at least 3v3" heavy shouldn't exist in 3v3 at all. I understand in 6v6 but not 3v3 or rumble, heavy is to unbalanced. But i see where your coming from, essentially every class can "arc blade" bc of the swords.

  • Heavy is always a touchy subject. I don't play 3v3 enough to have a strong opinion on it. As far as gunslinger at least you can do some add control with combustion and do some major/ultra damage with celestial nighthawk. Blade dancer doesn't even have those options unfortunately.

    That's true enough, but nightstalker works so much better for everything, ok you get 60000 with the nighthawk, with tether you can get easily triple that, and with encore you can actually wipe entire waves with razors edge. Showstopper is also good for enemies that crowd like thrall or psions. Either way bug the older classes need a HUGE buff in pve Edit: sorry forgot to talk about add control with blood bound, yes combustion is nice but again bloodbound is better for wiping a group, and for more spread out adds you can use black hole or quiver, you can even set traps with predator, like i do at the ogres on oryx
